These are a very nice set of brushes, where you get to have almost all sizes and shapes of brushes which are generally required and these are easy to use. Bristles are soft and very convenient to use, work well in the journal too.I personally loved this set and would definitely recommend this.

The quality and overall brushes are nice but if ur a professional painter or looking for strokes in ur painting then this product is not for u.these brushes are too soft and probably good for water colour paintings.

Go and do some research on various kinds of brushes and pick a handful (4 or 5) of them that will suit your need from a reputable brand!I used a lot of brushes in my painting life, not expensive ones like Rosemary & Co. but many Indian made brushes. I restarted Oil painting recently after a 10 year break and sought out to buy some basic budget stuff Amazon has to recommend. And these were the first brushes to show up however I phrase my search words. And the reviews were many with good ratings, so I gave them a shot. One may say these ain’t for professionals but can be great for beginners, but I don’t even recommend them to beginners. The brushes don’t hold any paint and I constantly had to reload the brush every single stroke. Even on the lower most layers, where it should be really easy to put on good quantities of paint, these didn’t hold any decent amount of paint. That kind of performance from a paint brush only will demoralise a beginner as they’d think it’s their painting skill that’s at fault. And will only make them avoid painting altogether.They just added one of each kind of brushes to make it look like a bang for the buck set for beginners, but it’s not. I would rather suggest any beginners to go on YouTube and find the differences between various brush types like Rounds, Flats, Filberts, Fans, Daggers etc, and buy a limited set of 4 or 5 brushes from any one or two kinds. From a reputable brand. Instead of getting a buttload of useless brushes, buy a small set for similar price which will work even better.Do make an informed decision regarding brushes, as the right brushes, even cheap ones can last a lifetime! Don’t waste your money!
