Have to adjust doors pretty regular and these have made it much easier for small gaps. Easy to use and reasonable. Wish could get in larger packs

Easy to install and fit great on 4” hinges

These are well-designed and work as intended. They're easy to install, although I wasn't able to slide in more than one shim beneath the hinges on my door, probably due to the design of the door frame; clearance was just too tight when using two or more. Instead, I had to back out the hinge screws completely and set them in place, which was no big deal.If you're stacking more than one and can't slide them in beneath the hinge, they can be a little tricky to keep in place since the hinge carveout is very shallow - only the depth of about 2 shims, or 1/8th-inch. As you're folding the hinge back into place to screw it tight, the shims try to sneak out. Use some double-sided tape to keep them in place. These shims fold over at a crease to double- or triple-up, but they also break off easily, so fold slowly and carefully if you intend to keep them together, which makes them stay in place more easily.My only qualm is that at 1/16th-inch thickness, they're actually slightly thicker than ideal. 1/16th-inch doesn't sound like much, but to fine-tune the alignment of a door, it can be a bit too coarse of an adjustment. On my door, I used one shim on the bottom two hinges and none on the top hinge, but I could have used an extra half-thickness shim on the bottom hinge to really close the gap perfectly. I'd love to see a version that's 1/32nd-inch thick to allow for finer adjustment.

A simple shim that works.

The product was easy to install as long as you are able to hold the loosened door to get the shims installed between the loosened hinge and the door jamb. The job would be easier with a second person to assist, but it is not impossible for one person to perform the install as I did.

We were repainting our pair of outswing front doors and found the opening to be plumb and square, but the doors weren't centered in the hole. Time for shims. There were four hinges per door. After travelling to most ACE and big box stores in our area I found shims were hard to find. Amazon to the rescue. These shims worked perfectly. Three in the top hinge of one leaf, two in the first intermediate, one in the second intermediate and we were set. Perfect alignment. The opportunity to use layers of shims helped. The material is sturdy enough to make a long lasting fix. Just what we needed.

I used to always use cardboard shims before I found these. These plastic shims are the cat's pajamas! I love how some of the screw holes are slotted so that you don't have to pull all the screws. Great product, would buy again.

Not the item pictured but it still worked. What they sent me seems like a cheaper quality version.
