Does this vest come with the weights (of a total of 60 lbs), or do you have to order those, separately?

It is also important to know your scale settings, when weighing individual weights the scale may read 2lbs 15 oz. To clarify this does not mean 2.15lbs as there are 16 oz in 1 lb. So the actual weight 2.94lbs on some weights. The weights varies plus or minus 1 or 2 oz. Overall if you weigh the weights with the vest purchased you will get the total weight shown at the time of purchase.

Are these metal weights or sandbags?

Metal. Not sandbags. The vest has been good with stationary workouts. When running with it, it moves quite a bit. Over all good purchase.

Does the 20lb vest come with slots to upgrade to 60 if you buy more weights?

I believe so. According to the Mir web site, the vests are expandable to 60 pounds. I bought the 50 and have room for 10 more pounds

when it comes to pushups does the front interfere?

In my experience it has not interfered. I run with this vest and have done pushups in various positions whether on the ground or angled off or against various objects i.e. park benches.
