This was the perfect replacement battery for my speaker! Great price!

My UE Boom 2 would no longer hold charge. I followed the instructions on youTube to replace the battery, and it took maybe 15 minutes. The old battery had foam around it to make the fit more snug than this one, but it peeled off and I was able to stick it to the replacement. So far it charged up and ran for about an hour in initial testing. If I don't update the review, then it's all good!

Battery stopped holding a charge after a month

Docking a star just because the tools provided are practically useless, the seal you have to crack to open the speaker is way stronger than they can handle. Otherwise the battery fixed my speaker. Before, I wasn't able to charge even though it would recognize being plugged in.

It was a very easy battery swap on my Ultimate Ears Boom speaker. I did not use the included tools, I used a screwdriver based on another review. Based on the amount of leverage required with a standard steel screwdriver, I doubt the plastic tools would hold up. Once apart, the battery is right there. Popped out the old and put in the new one…PRESTO!! The battery had an 80% charge from the factory. It’s good as new!

So far the batteries working great I get my six hours of playtime back that I used to have very good for the price

Bought this for my son who wanted this battery for his Bluetooth speaker. No complaints so far, all he said was it fits well, and thanks. Which means that it works.

Replaces the OEM battery in the Ultimate Ears Boom 3. Rather than a slow death, mine suddenly just stopped charging. This battery was an inexpensive solution and actually is 3400mAh vs. the OEM 3200mAh. There are adequate videos on line how and where to pry off the bottom baseplate. Note, however, that there is a silicone seal around the inside of the lip that makes it difficult to pry apart the lip. The included tools are weak and useless as prying tools in this aspect, other than acting as a placing wedge once you get started. I had to use a thin blade screwdriver and leverage around. Once you break the seal it gets easier. Pull out the cover and the battery is right there, and the baseplate goes back on a lot easier. Knocked a star off because the tip of one of the so-called 'prying tools' broke off right away (not up to the task of leveraging the lip of the baseplate). The price, however, was reasonable.
