Kalawen Latest Weather Station for Home with One Wireless Outdoor Sensor

Having tried a similar unit by a different brand that kept dropping its signal to the sensors, that one was sent back and I purchased this one. Only had it running a few days but so far so good, the 2 outdoor sensors are reading the same within 0.2 of a degrees and humidity reading same as well. The sensor signals have not dropped off once and everything looks stable. It has everything I need, didn't want wind speed etc, these are gimmicky, just needed to know outdoor temperature and pressure, time and the little forecast display, not sure how accurate this is, obviously driven from air pressure but kids love it, so overall very pleased. It is not too imposing on the window sill and is pleasing on the eye.

Display can be dimmed for a short while but returns to full brightness (default: back light on) while plugged in, so I usually leave it on battery (default: back light off) - too distracting for bedroom. Air pressure not accurate, reading 1004 when it should be about 1012 and cannot be adjusted. Otherwise, very pleased with this weather station. Set up was easy, I have outside sensor reasonably well protected against rain, so I expect it will work well.

Very smart looking and easy to read. I have one thermometer on a north facing wall and one in a greenhouse. Useful rather than having to go outside often to check. They are accurate as checked against other liquid thermometers and they both have the same readings when next to each other for a while. The coverage seems good with the signal having to go through a couple of 70cm stone walls. Very pleased with it. Useful for the current time and air pressure also.

Good....display... connection to outdoor remotes.... function.. Bad ..does not forecast! The idea of this is to forecast...it has been running for about a week, we have had rain..lots...it never says it's going to rain. Stays on sunny or cloudy... Even the trend does not change to signify change for worse yet the humidity has grown by 30%!

This was a surprise gift from my wife. She knows what an avid weather follower I am and she thought I would appreciate this nifty gadget. She wasn't wrong! It's a very accurate at predicting the weather and has the added bonus of having an outdoor weather sensor included with it. The display is crystal clear and the set up is relatively straightforward. I love it!

I have bought this item twice as the first one eventually failed, purchased again in November only four months ago, and the sensor I use outside has failed again and despite trying hard to reconnect, it will not. I would have rated this device highly, but now it’s advised not to buy. I do not expect it to fail within 4️⃣ months

The display is very bright and clear and attractive (I have had various units over the years). I like the white surround. Best plugged into the mains, so on all the time (you don't need batteries in the main unit in this case). Would have given a score of 5 if there was not one problem. The pressure is displayed, but cannot be set to read correctly - when mine reads 1000 mb the actual pressure is 1013 mb. Most weather stations allow you to adjust the pressure reading to be locally correct, but this one does not, as confirmed to me by the manufacturer Kalawen.

I had a few teething problems with this device. At first I thought it was faulty, but communicating with the seller who was very helpful, they suggested a few things to test out before replacing the unit. They were quite right to suggest this. They responded to my tests and trials within 24 hours each time I communicated and were very helpful. The translation in the manual led to a few questions but customer services soon noted me out, very quickly and very efficiently. The device is now up and running perfectly and I love it. It is a great bit of kit. I would highly recommend this unit.
