For the price as was the cheapest I could find. Works very well. I go away camping in 2 days for 5 days and needed an electric cool box. Done a trial for 2 days at home plugged in and it gets cold pretty quick. Comes with car attachment to plug in for long journeys too

What a wonderful find.It's solid and rigid, easy to use and clean, and can also work with freezer packs as well as plugging in.It will easily fit several bottles (wine, beer, milk) and some snacks that need to be kept cool although it does make a little noise when working. We're due to go on holiday soon and will find out whether it's noisy in a hotel room!

works really welll for either cooling or heating

Am in a four storey house, bedroom at the top, kitchen in basement, bought this to keep milk and butter cool, so breakfast could be enjoyed before going downstairs. It is set up in "office" next to bedroom, so the fairly loud humming doesn't disturb ones sleep.Use several ice blocks placed over the top of the food to achieve the coolest temperature possible, and change these every day. They produce some water/condensation as they warm up, but kitchen paper solves that problem. Lid removes completely for easy cleaning.Ideal solution.

Useless - as bad or worse than a basic insulated one

Arrived very quickly, well packaged and protected. Everything works great, there are switches for Hot and Cold and 12v or 230v mains. It's not too noisy, but at 32db, you can hear it. The height is the biggest plus against our previous one, a litre bottle stands up easily. Looks really good and is so versatile, with both DC and AC adapters.

Was a bit doubtful it would do the job,I needn't have worried. Kept everything chilled wonderfully, just be careful the switch to go to heating isn't hit accidentally (wife!) Ended up with a cheese sauce in bottom and hot cider.🤬

You have to unplug power to get something out of it.
