I use this in my jewelry making. After I tie the knots on my stringing material I zap the ends of the thread to melt it down and hold the knot from opening. As soon as the tip is red, it is ready! Make sure you have a new battery (if it doesn't work, that is why). I love, love love it!!!

This product is amazing!!! It does exactly what I need it to do…… not burn my beading thread too much while still giving my beaded work the anchor at the end so I don’t always have to try and tie multiple knots which never end up in the same place for me.

Nothing to write home about, but works as it should.Decently fast to heat up.

This item looked good but after ordering, I learned that it requires a lot of battery power and the tips do not last long. Decided to return it for a different, more durable model.

I had always heard of people using these things to burn off the extra string on their beadwork, but I was always skeptical if they really worked. I do alot of beading, and got tired of having to cut my string with scissors as close as I could to me beading and was always nervous about cutting my thread. I decided to give the thread burner a try, and OMG, why did I not buy this thing sooner! Amazing!Easy to use, all you do is hold down the button and it heats up in just a few seconds and you just barely touch it to the thread and zam! Thread be gone. The only thing I am dissapointed in, is that I didn't buy it sooner.For real, I seriously recommend this. Very well worth the money and investment.

This is perfect for getting a cut close enough to hide all of your loose ends. It heats up quickly and cools off quickly too. It's one of my favorite beading tools.

Unfortunately, I never got much use out of this. When I received it, it seemed like the top portion that comes on and off was either damaged or somehow slid through QC inspection ? The burner will not fit onto the “body” correctly and therefore the slide button used to turn it on and off won’t move easily either. You can get it to still work but I’ve been afraid to use it, concerned that it may stay on, remaining hot when I’ve turned it off. If I had opened it up sooner, I would’ve tried to return it. I also bought extra tips for this but they will also be useless to me.

This is the third time buying this product. It comes in very handy.

ビーズで作業するとき、ハサミでは切れにくい糸やナイロンの糸を止める必要が出てきますので、そういう時に使ってます。糸の端が電熱で丸まります。
