Great unit for the $$. I'm using this in a med sized office, and it's amazing how smooth it runs and cools too!VERY small footprint, so you don't need a lot of space. Remote is easy to use and the top LCD display is well lit

The weight of the unit is 57 pounds. I noticed in other reviews that people were having trouble following instructions. The piece that attaches to the window mount must be screwed in COUNTER CLOCKWISE. You will probably need several small screws to hold the window mount firmly in place, just like you would a regular AC. It's rather noisy, a bit more than a regular window mounted air conditioner. This does not bother me because I mentally filter out the noise. If you can't do this, this may not be the right product for you. I already have central AC but I wanted my bedroom to be at 63 degrees at night without freezing out the rest of the household. The performance in the cooling area is perfection. If you live in a condo that has rules against window air conditioners, this is just the thing for you. My bedroom is 450 square feet and it totally cools it and quick. The instruction manual isn't that great, which is why people struggle with the installation. The unit is 57 pounds, but you don't have to lift it into the window and remove it in the fall. It's easy to uninstall and roll around. I suggest that the manufacturer have a customer service line to help people with their installation questions. Cons: Instruction manual. Noise level. Lack of customer support. No information on weight in product description. Pros: Portable. Cools quickly. Can be used with unusually shaped windows. No unsightly window AC unit. I hope that helps.

Works great, perfect for my room, and it does get cold. Been looking for one for awhile. Most of the portable acts you have to keep adding water to them. So thanks

Window kit was not what was advertised. The description and pictures claimed the window kit would fit windows 26.6' to 49.7". First off the window kit received looks different than what was advertised in the pictures. Secondly, my window is 29" and the extension piece to fill in the gap remaining after placing the main window piece is way too long. You can only slide it over to the point where it hits the opening for the exhaust tube. At that point it is still way to long to fit my 29" window. I can make it fit if I cut the extension piece but I shouldn't have to do that and one reason I chose this unit was based on the fact that it said the window kit would fit my window width.

This AC unit exceeded my expectations. I saw a mix of good and bad reviews and decided to roll the dice because it’s 10,000 btu and most units in this price range are 8,000, and don’t have wifi controls.I get extremely uncomfortable in heat (I grew up in Alaska but am living much further south now.. So I’m very sensitive to hot temps) and had really high hopes for this product. At first I was disappointed at how loud it seemed- but once I got it all hooked up and the exhaust duct on and connected to the window, it became much quieter. I quickly realized that the bulk of the noise is the exhaust fan. So when the rear exhaust duct is connected it muffles that sound quite a bit. It still makes some noise, but I’m able to be on zoom calls just a few feet from the unit and it doesn’t affect the audio.One thing I haven’t seen mentioned in the comments is how well the wheels on the bottom work to allow the unit to easily move around. It’s effortless to push the unit in any direction (your only limited by the length of the ducting). So after reading some negative comments saying the unit leaks from the inside, I find it pretty simple to check for this. If you drain it properly, and check the bottom plug ever so often, I don’t think there is anything wrong with this product leaking. I have not experienced this whatsoever. I have drained the bottom plug a few times, which drains any condensation that stays in the unit.All in all, this is a good unit and I’d buy it again.

This works so much better than I expected. We still have Air conditioning and power issues from the summer hurricanes this year. This unit cools and dehumidifies our house enough to be more than just comfortable, but actually cold sometimes. It covers a good amount of square footage, we have a small 1200 sq ft south Florida home and it works for us when needed. Perfect for anyone in a storm area that loses power and needs a/c. This and a generator is the difference between tolerable and not after the storm during hurricane season. Very satisfied so far.

Unit works great, cools room quickly. However, WIFI does NOT work. I've tried everything in the manual. I've scoured reviews. Yes, I've held down the speed button - it just beeps 3 times and there is no flashing light whatsoever. I've held down the reset button, it doesn't do anything. I've held all buttons down more than 3 seconds. I've got the right app open and have tried connecting using different AC units there. Literally nothing works. WiFi is written atop the unit - but I don't know why. There is no flashing lights, ever, be is rapid or slow. Such a waste of time. Wifi isn't even that important to me, but why advertise it if has it if it doesn't work?
