What I needed
This worked really well for install an outside receptacle that had to go down at a 27.5 degree angle through a facade using over 30” of this bit to do it and it performed as expected.

Works great, and easy to use.
Saved the day. Split level I needed to get under the floor from about 5' from the laundry room (no ceiling). Drilled through two 2×12 joists and through the floor from the upstairs cable outlet hole, and using a cheap endoscope I got here on Amazon managed to pull a string and then a Cat6 ethernet cable.Only downside was having to cut the cable clip protector off as the hole was too small for a molded ethernet connector. If you are running ethernet, I would recommend the next larger 3/4 size. They recommend a two handle drill, I used a regular drill. Hold it tight and use a medium high speed. Too slow and it gets stuck. It is rather stiff, didn't bend to follow the wall as the video showed, but an angled hole works as well.

Worked great
Good quality, made running cables through floor board a breeze

Works well, not quite a flexible as I expected
Start your drill slow, there's very little flex in these but they do work. On the whole 4 stars but 3.5 would be more accurate.

Super fast delivery- great product!
First of all let me comment on the fast delivery- I ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived on Friday! I’ve already used the bit and it worked perfect- quality product Made in the USA! I will be ordering again!

Not quite there yet
The build quality is good, but the bit has a design issue. The shaft is round so the bit slips in the drill chuck. The shaft is flexible to allow good reach when drilling.

Great one time use tool
Would have liked more flexibility but went through two two by fours no problem

Terrible flexibility and drill tip strength
I purchased the 54" and 72" versions of this product, as well as their 36" and 54" extensions. All of their products were useless to me and I ended up losing their 54" and 72" flex-bit and 36" extension in my walls. The flex-bits are not flexible other than near the half-way point of the shaft. Any attempt to bend them shorter than the half-way point is futile and dangerous because of the amount of force applied, the reliability of the anchor point, and the potential damage it could cause to the surface its being bent around. For my own cable pull project from the attic to the 1st floor (in a 2 story home), my job was cut short when I couldn't even use the 54" or the 72" flex-bit to drill through the top plate (2 studs stacked) because the drill tip was weak. I had to use a spade bit to go through the top plate first then use their products. Even when using a hammer drill, in low torque setting, I had difficulty drilling 2 holes along the way. I ended up losing the extensions and drill bits in my walls because of thermal expansion caused by the heating of the extensions (see my review for this issue). I strongly recommend purchasing flex-bits from a different company not just from my own experience, but take a look on YouTube for their videos on how they use their flex-bits to drill holes and pull cable. Their "stage" is a mock-up of what NOT to do when doing a cable-pull job and they even contradict what they say in their video and what is adorned via stickers on their products (e.g., "do NOT drill blind"). The video shows their employees using very flexible (rubbish) extensions and drill bits going from the bottom to the top, cutting through wood like cheese and going blindly along the side of the walls. Doing it this way and not drilling closer to the center of the stud could cause several issues (e.g., hitting nails or other cables, conduits, pipes, etc) and it makes me question why a vendor would even post this on their channel. These drill bits will not eat through nails, will barely go through wood, and are not flexible enough. You have been warned.

It does the job
I've used this drill bit to do a "new work" electrical outbox for coax cable and outlet and to drill joists for the same cable. I drilled around 15 holes in total.Overall, I'm pleased with the quality and drilling speed of the product. The drill bit wasn't as flexible as I expected but this is my first one so I guess my expectations were a bit off. I found it extremely useful to drill joists if you have a hard time to fit your drill with a standard drill bit or you have different objects (e.g. air duct, electrical wires) in a way.

DOES THE JOB
Worked for what I needed it for, good sharp drill bit. The rod itself is not that flexible but I just needed it to drill down through the bottom of a stud wall through an opening for an electrical socket to feed the cable through, twice, and it worked perfect. Never know when I might need it again, or friends/family to borrow.

Very Good 10/10
We use those everyday in houses to get new wires in wall, very good product, it is also not expensive for this kind of tool!We resharpen them once or twice before they are dead. If you never hit nails they will last very long but the reality is that you will get nails or worse a screw. I did contact their support for 2 questions before re-buying and they told me some nice answer that I would like to share here:What is the real difference between the Auger and the ScrewPoint? We usually drill going up in 1.5 to 3in of wood.We also sadly hits nails from time to time so do one perform better if you happened to hit a nail? We usually hit it then try again somewhere else. The ESP was the first design for a cable bit by the inventor many years ago. Most people are more familiar with an auger style bit and this is where the EA came from.ESP cuts a bit faster and the EA leaves a cleaner hole. That is the only difference I see.Nails are a problem, all of the cable bits are manufactured using 4340 and heat treated to 53 to 58 Rockwell. We do not make them any harder because they are mounted on long spring steel shanks and the torque involved in cutting through steel can cause the shank to snap and could cause serious injury. We would rather you sharpen the bit than be injured.hope this help! 10/10

Does the job
I tested this on my test rig and it works as expected. The flex of the rod is not bad.

great auger....but....
The product itself is top notch. It is definitely stiff and doesn't have a lot of flex, but that's expected with the 36" model, as noted in the product video. But it drilled through studs like a champ, with nice clean holes that made pulling wires through a breeze. The one problem I have is that I was sent a product that was clearly used before. The label was ripped off the shaft and scratches all over it. Even the paint was chipped off the blade. The box had been clearly closed back up with scotch tape. So pretty unimpressed that I paid full price for an open box/used version that should have been marked as such and sold at a discount.
