Quality and Value
Quality, value & aesthetics is tops for me. Already own a green Level 8 carry-on which I absolutely love. It’s very difficult to order based in visual online. BIG mistake ordered another brand and returned IMMEDIATELY not even out of the box. The reason is quality is night and day, although the cheaper one is not much cheaper. I also have a dislike for weird brand names.Let me elaborate on Level 8 (this is not a paid review) which may help those like me avoid the angst of questionable quality . If you’re like me, want premium quality, value and fair price, skip all other brands and buy Level 8. Think MONOS. Level 8 is classy, stylish and modern in every way. Wheels are smooth and light weight without feeling like cheap luggage. This is my 2nd Level 8, I opted for the Dk Grey Pro for work that I can share with my mate also. Great for short trips.I’m contemplating a couple of checked in sizes with the wide handle bars (somehow it’s not sold on Amazon so will have to order direct from their website) for our upcoming vacations. I’m obsessed with Level 8 over its competitors, highly recommend!

It almost hovers
I bought this about a month ago and so far it's been through multiple airports, trains, and all over the streets of New York, Chicago, and New Orleans. On smooth terrain like airport terminals and even good sidewalks, it just glides alongside you with the tiniest effort and I can even take my hands off of it for a few seconds to adjust my coat or whatever and it just maintains the same speed/direction and glides along side me without veering or wobbling. On crosswalks and bumpy sidewalks it still does extremely well, you just have to guide it.The front pocket for the laptop is easy to open, and the latch locks along with the zippers if the combo lock is set. i will say that you cannot overstuff the suitcase and expect the front pocket cover to stay flat/flush, and nothing other than the laptop will fit in the front pocket if the inner suitcase is really full (the divider between the front pocket space and the inner suitcase is heavy cloth, it would be nice if it could be a lightweight hard material). It will take you on a 2 night work trip in winter or a 4-night trip in summer (the clothes aren't as bulky) easily, including your laptop, toiletries, and an extra pair of shoes or two. If you're packing suits or wrinkly items that need space, maybe not as much. I love this suitcase though and will take it on all my work trips. One other note: I have a 16-inch Macbook Pro (2019) and it fits in the front laptop pouch easily, with probably about half inch to spare on either side. I was worried if it would fit when i read the specs of the suitcase but took a chance. If you're wondering the same thing, GET THIS SUITCASE, you'll be glad!

Luggage is really nice looking
The luggage is great looking. I would recommend this one for 2 - 3 days trips. If the luggage is over packed it will cause the front door comportment to push out and it looks very weird. I normally don't travel with a laptop but if you are... I would say try to pack light so you have enough space in the front pocket for the computer. Also, try not to check this in or it will definitely get all scratched up or it may break. Is not bad quality, however, if it gets thrown or dropped I could see it breaking very easily...I tend to take good care of all my things in general so I'm not too worry about mine breaking. If they force you to check it in that's another story...

Exceptional Travel Ease with LEVEL8 Road Runner Pro Carry-On
The LEVEL8 Road Runner Pro Carry-On Luggage is hands down one of the best bags I've ever used. As a frequent traveler, I appreciate the thoughtful design that blends durability with high functionality. The standout feature for me is the super nice laptop compartment, which not only keeps my device secure but also easily accessible during transit. What impresses me the most is how smoothly this suitcase rolls. Whether navigating through crowded airport terminals or rushing to catch a flight, the spinner trolley wheels move so smoothly that it feels like the bag is gliding effortlessly beside me.Additionally, the built-in USB charging port is a game changer, making it easy to keep my devices charged on the go. The lock adds an extra layer of security, giving me peace of mind about the safety of my belongings.Overall, the LEVEL8 Road Runner Pro is a top-tier choice for anyone looking for a stylish, secure, and practical carry-on. Its sleek design, coupled with exceptional features like the laptop compartment and smooth rolling wheels, makes it a must-have for both short and long trips. I highly recommend this carry-on to any traveler looking for reliability and style in their luggage.

Side pocket jams often and wastes valuable capacity.
At first, I thought this design was ingenious. Having a side compartment that can be easily opened seems useful. However, in practice, it did not work well. First, this compartment takes up a lot of space in the suitcase, so you cannot pack much more than a change of clothes and a slim toiletry bag. Second, the side compartment often jams, making it difficult to open. I have stopped using mine and prefer my wife's less expensive Samsonite Freeform Carry-On 21 inch so much that I have bought several sets for our family. Anyone want a used Level8 Carry-On?

Sleek and functional. Rolls so quietly you forget it's there. Easy to maneuver up aircraft isle.
I'm giving this 5 stars but bear in mind this is after only one 9 day trip. I will say, like some other reviewers the front storage area is not that useful if you have the bag completely full to the brim. I don't recommend it for longer trips like I was on as it's just not enough space. But I hate checking a bag unless I have to. I think it is nearly perfect for 2-4 day trips. It's extremely smooth and quiet on the move. I absolutely love the design and way it looks. I don't care for bags with all the scattered designs and irregularities. It fits perfectly in overhead bins and the design prevents you from ever overfilling it. So if you stay within its dimensions, it's going to fit most mid/large airplane overhead storage. You'll still have to check gate check on some small commuter planes though.
