I used to take ballet and I have super big muscle at the top, back of my lower leg. I had to add some sticky parts to the leg brace so that the strap would fit around my leg. It did NOT fit around the upper part of my lower leg.

The splint was light weight and can be put in the freezer for the liquid in the plastic to freeze. I did not like the plastic against my leg so I put a thin cotton flour sack towel between splint and my leg.That also helped protect my leg from the frozen ice. It offers relief and helps with swelling. It helps support the ankle and leg so it does not twist. I just wore flat flip flops or open backed sandals.

This brace visually appears to be a quality made brace you may get from an orthopedic facility. IT IS NOT! PLEASE look at the photo, when put on, your ankle has zero stability nor support. The straps are too high and the heel rest on the brace is almost see through fabric. Its obvious in the pic, keep shopping

And that's NOT what they are, they are plastic bags filled with something. As u can c in video I uploaded I used my own medical gel to these and they work well. I modified one of these several weeks ago and wear them everyday for cycling and it has given me the ability to strengthen my right leg. So much so that the right leg is now stronger then my left. Thats why I bought a second one. I'm showing u in the video what I did to modify these. They now fit closer to the leg and are much cooler to wear. The plastic bags they use are like mini sweat 💦 factories. My socks got soaked with sweat 💦. Anyway I like these and wear them everyday.

Having experienced numerous ankle sprains in my youth, I’ve worn air casts frequently and am very familiar with them. I purchased this one following a recent injury, but unfortunately, it pressed directly on my ankle joint, causing discomfort and irritation. It never felt quite right. It’s possible the issue was due to the specific location of my injury, but I was disappointed not to find the relief I’ve come to expect from an air cast.

The size is true. I wear a women's 10.5-11, and from some reviews I purchased 3 XL braces, they were TOO large. I ordered 3 Large braces, and they are perfect for intended purpose. Stabilize my arch and brace my ankle

This was recommended by my PT - much less bulky than the orthopedic boot, which went up to the knee, had a thick sole which made me lopsided, this is much lighter weight.

Gel packs very thin, foot strap worn out after only a week, need to be heavier material! The outer casing and straps are fine.
