The Captain Underpants Double-Crunchy Book o' Fun: Color Edition (From the Creator of Dog Man) Hardcover – November 29, 2022

My youngest two boys love these books and this has been no exception! Something about underwear and butt jokes, they always get a giggle.

Hear me out hear me out, When I was 9 years old, I remember how I was never a big fan for reading. I was one of those boys who would rather watch movies any day over picking up a book and attempting to understand why others were "addicted" to literature. Well, basically one day I was walking the hallways in my elementary school and saw on the top of the library bookshelves that Captain Underpants 6-8 were being advertised, I grew in curiousity given how those covers appeared different that other books. The following day my teacher took the whole class to the library, and I headed straight to the shelf that held all the captain underpants books, and picked the 7th title. Once I got home with the book I binge read the entire title, and didn't took me long to realize what a book series was, so I made it my personal mission to get my hands in all the titles, it took me years before I could get my hands on the 1st-3rd books, it was the most funnest scavenger hunt I've ever taken a part of. When I turned 10 you started releasing new titles every year and I lived to read them all, yes live. And then once the color versions started coming out I made it my mission to collect them all as memories of my childhood. Somewhere along the way I noticed the Crunchy Book o Fun's in the back cover of one of the classic books, I didn't pay too much attention to the title, but I grew hopeful to one day get to read the real "finale" for captain underpants in which all the villains came back (like in the cover for the book o funs), and after George and Harold used the robo-squid to search for Sulu and Crackers at the end of the 12th book, what better opportunity to allow there to be a time traveling malfunction and allowing the villains along side captain underpants to have this End game type of battle, I would love to have that book in my collection.Either way, comments about this title, I personally feel the cover is a step down given the publisher decided to use the title page instead of the original cover for the book o funs, but still great re run Dav!

The best

We are Dav Pilkey fans since I was a little girl in the 90s! This book has so many activities that's it's got something for every kid to enjoy. Mazes, how to draw, comics, flip o Rama's!

I like Captain Underpants books.
