Scouring pads
I bought these to refurbish a couple of cast iron table saws that I bought and they turned out to be perfect for the job, not too aggressive, and left the tables with a perfect satin finish. I only used one of them and it still looks almost new so I’d say they hold up quite well.

Will leave a cleaner finish versus wire brush.
This material often referred to as Scotch-Brite. I first saw this used for aircraft corrosion work in the Navy way back in 1975. Back then it was “state of the art” and expensive. I use this on Aluminum Boats to remove a layer of corrosion measured in microns. With a common grinder, this is pretty quick work. With a wire brush type wheel you are likely to take too much material off and leave scratches. I use the burgundy colored, since it’s not as aggressive as the green. These hold up very well and the price is reasonable. As always, wear safety glasses and a dust mask.

Flings apart
Angle grinder spins too fast for these. They just quickly fling apart and definitely bc especially if using them on something.

Great metal cleaning product
Put together very well. I used for paint n rust removal from steel. Goes a long way for the price. I highly recommend.

5000 RPM for Angle Grinder??? And Falls apart at 4000
Description states 11000 rpm angle grinder pad, but upon arrival, the label states 5000 rpm max. Figured I would use anyway on a variable speed set to 4000, took off surface dirt, but when hit a rusty patch the green dust just sprayed across the metal and the pad fell to pieces. But in all fairness even though it didn't remove the rust it put a nice polish on it. I think these would work better on wood and not metal or if trying to use them for just polishing or shining up. Did not remove rust, grease or any paint flakes unless they were loose already.
