Works well for this. Put on container lid and the. Connect hose to pump on the outer side and hose inside container. Airtight works well.

Not really sure why they come with metal washer. Needs to have rubber washer to be water tight.

Purchased items in conjunction with Power Steering Fluid replacement. Set tubes into container to capture expelled P/S fluid. Fitting perfectly fit P/S fluid line from car to create a sealed system.
