Bought this. Bottomless portafilter to work with the cheap espresso machine that I bought on Amazon as well. This filter works much better than the pressurized filter that came with my machine. I'm very happy with its functionality and the shots that I pull from it. The build quality feels solid. The price point is good. I have no issues with it leaking. I'm very happy.

Fits my Delonghi Arte Dedica. Open porta is game changer. Second big thing, get a WDT, must have. Honorable mentions, good beans, good grinder, good life. Note, basket is "tapered", not vertical. So when you do your tamping like you do, it hits the edge of the basket, party foul! I bought the IMS basket or some such, completely vertical, now I can tamp without disruption. I love to tamp, who doesn't, tampy tamp is tamping, tamp off.

This one is indeed 51mm and 3 tab but didn't fit the machine. I bought a different 3 tab 51 mm on that Chinese site and it seems to fit perfectly. The one on left is what the MAttinata needs

Portafilter definitely looks great and feels high quality. Almost perfect for my needs for use on the EC680. Unfortunately, the portafilter's fit on the machine is slightly off so with a moderate amount of pressure built up during brewing it will be pushed unlocked and fly off machine. This means that the user would have to hold the portafilter in position during brewing which is not ideal.

The wood is real, the feel is pretty sturdy and I enjoy the look of the grain. I did have to switch out the spring clip for ease of use. But I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I look forward to using it for as long as possible.

Unfortunately I should have read the other reviews and not listened to the seller's claims. It's a nice handle and basket but as another reviewer states, the flanges are likely too small for the proper fit on the Delnoghi Dedica EC680M. I've had challenges where the water leaks out of the gasket where the portafilter connects. I thought the gasket was worn out and replaced it with no change. Then I noticed that my wife had no issues with the pressurized factory portafilter. Even if a coffee ground got stuck and the machine couldn't pump any water through, no water leaks from the gasket. This had be examining the two and it looks rather apparent that the factory portafilter has slightly bigger flanges that creates a firmer fit against the gasket. If you've got an EC680M I'd recommend looking for a different portafilter.

Very much worth the price. Not too expensive, but still good quality. Works well with my Delonghi Dedica machine. Might be worth it to pair this purchase with a higher-end basket for discerning buyers.

Unfortunately I had to return this because it didn't work for my machine. But it is fantastic quality. It feels sturdy and all accessories seem quality as well.

I highly recommend this product for anyone who has medium experience in espresso making, the quilty build is very high compared to its price, only use it twice till now, but I liked what I have bought.

So I got this bottomless portafilter to improve the results on my Delonghi Dedica espresso machine. The unit looks very nice and fits well however my current grinder ( a Baratza Encore) was not able to produce a fine or uniform enough product to work - no crema and weak tasting espresso. Next I bought a better tamper ( Delonghi metal with wood handle) and a new grinder ( Baratza Sette 30) and am finally getting good results from the bottomless portafilter. The size of the included portafilter basket is for a double shot and holds 15-17 grams of coffee. It would be nice if a single shot basket was included holding 12-14 grams as well. All in all a very good product but be warned that you may need to upgrade your grinder, tamper and maybe even your machine after you buy this device to get really good results.
