Wrong TB size hard drive, other issues
I have to change my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars, and here's why.I bought this computer in 2019 with the intention of opening up a home office. The plan at work changed, so I didn't set up the office until early 2020.As a result of my failure to set up my home office in a timely fashion, I overlooked the fact my computer had a 1TB hard drive, and not a 2TB as advertised. Another problem I had was the power supply - it was not working properly. I also did not notice the back of the tower case was bent.I bought the same computer for my son a year earlier, and recently bought him a new gaming computer. Since I was having issues with my computer shutting down randomly, I decided to flip the hard drives from my computer to his HP Elite because he never had shut down issues. That's how I knew the hard drive size was wrong, as his hard drive was a 2TB hard drive. When I started the computer (his guts, my hard drive), I noticed a sound I had not heard before - the power supply. The computer I had purchased (before I swapped the drives) was super quiet and I thought it was just incredibly efficient. In fact, once I heard activity in the computer, I realized the problem was in the power supply. Now, I can't just return this computer as I let it sit there for a year before actually starting it. That's my fault, but the computer just sat for a year and should have been operational with no issues and it had not.I'm lucky I bought the same computer for my son to make the hard drive swap, or I would have wasted money.I am upset about the hard drive size issue, but I should have been diligent upon receiving the computer. I am not going to pursue it, but BUYER BEWARE - always check your equipment when you receive it.

Good price, but it's not "Like New"
HP Elite 8200 High Performance Small Form Factor Business Desktop Computer (Intel Quad Core i5 up to 3.4GHz Processor), 8GB DDR3 RAM, 2TB HDD, DVD, Windows 7 Professional (Certified Refurbished)Giving three stars and not two because this is a decent price for 8GB RAM and the i5 and the 8200 is a bulletproof machine with cheap replacement parts easily available. However, I was disappointed by the machine's condition. The description says the PC is "certified by the manufacturer or by a third-party refurbisher to look and work like new, with limited to no signs of wear." Mine arrived with significant scratches on the case. In one spot a Sharpie was used in a poor attempt to cover a scratch. The hard drive appears refurbished, but you should plan to replace drives in a refurb machine anyway. However, the drive did not even have matching screws and washers, which gave an overall sense of careless workmanship. If you have a problem, Deal Express is a pain to get on the phone. Some quick Googling suggests they are owned by OfficeSupply.com, if that helps anyone get in touch.Again, I'm giving three stars for a good price for 8GB. If you don't need the fast Amazon shipping, I would recommend buying this PC from Refurbees.com, who have better support and send their refurbs out in much better cosmetic condition.

The description stated it came with Windows 7 installed. ...
The description stated it came with Windows 7 installed. Windows 10 was installed, I didn't want Windows 10. Also, the hard drive is severely worn out. Loud grinding noises and power on hours is well over 51,000! This should not be resold to any customer! Who ever is in control of testing these before shipping should be replaced with someone who understand computers.
