These after-market cartridges are a fraction of the HP replacement cartridges and the quality is indistinguishable for 99% of your printing jobs. If you don't read the directions, it won't work. The cartridges include some very simple directions on how to respond to 2-3 questions posed by your printer and, if you answer (yes/no questions) incorrectly, it won't work, you'll freak out, and write a scathing review. If you READ THE @#@# DIRECTIONS, it works like a charm and you'll save a bundle and live happily ever after.

I had nothing but trouble with these cartridges. The 950 worked fine, but the color ink cartridges immediately caused problems with my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. All 4 of the cartridges did not fit smoothly into the spring loaded holder. Smudges began immediately. I believe that this probably occurs because HP want you to use only their own ink in their printers. Therefore, I had to go through the clleaning process many times. My solution seems to be working fine. Since the Printronic 950 Black cartridge worked, I bought the 3 color 951 HP cartridges from Staples where I recycle the cartridges also. Seems to be working well with this combination.

So far, working very well with light use on color printer. Still get error messages from HP since they don't like non-HP cartridges, but I just ignore that and it works fine. Certainly a big savings! Just after writing this review, I began having problems. However, the problem is not with the ink cartridges, which work fine - it's Hewlett Packard's printer software suddenly deciding it doesn't like having "counterfeit" cartridges in MY printer. Yes, I bought the printer - I should get to decide what cartridges to put in it! It's very frustrating and I haven't been able to find a way around it. I certainly don't want to support HP in this monopolization of the cartridges, but I need to be able to print as well. Perhaps, Printronic has some suggestions?

Received these and one cartridge was locked to a printer and could not be used and the others barely had any ink in them to the point I printed one page and stated the ink had been depleted. Requested a replacement and the seller just now sent the replacement. Will never order these again nor from the seller again. The picture is the replacement levels immediately after install.

Works well but my printer won't show ink levels because it recognizes it as a non - hp cartridge. So no way of knowing if the cartridge is full or not. But the price is way better than HP.

I have HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. Bought 4 Printronic Remanufactured Ink Cartridges for $19.99 and all of them worked beautifully. I got a few pop-up questions warning me that this is not an original HP cartridge, it might not be full and if I want to continue using it. Just clicked OK and had no more problems. Excellent price. Completely satisfied.

Replaced Cyan first. Worked fine. Shortly after replaced Yellow,and that worked fine for a few days; Shortly after it asked for Magenta. It refused to take it and kept on saying needs replacement. Had to buy all three and replace with the originals 951 from HP. All worked fine after that. I followed all the instructions contained on a small piece of paper inside the ink cartridge package.I am not going to use this again. Too much hassle. Pay more and get the HP !!!!!

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8100 and did not want to pay the HP ink price. When the new cartridges were installed, the printer did not show the ink had been refilled, showing no ink on the printer's bar display. The yellow cartridge stopped working 2 weeks after installation (despite being mostly full) and I had to run out to buy a new cartridge because the printer would not print without a recognized full cartridge. The other colors have worked fine.
