Bought these for my sourdough starter. They are amazing! Took the rubber rings off to allow air flow, but the clips keep the lids from falling off when the jars are moved.

I use the jar for my sourdough starter. I only keep about 50 g in it most of the time and it works super well. Then when I'm ready to make sourdough it's plenty big to add to it. Easy to clean, perfect size, great quality!

I really do love these jars. I have 2, & I may end up buying 1 more for my sourdough starter. I used canning jars at first, but they were hard to clean. this is much easier to clean & holds quite a bit. It seals well when I put my discard in the fridge. I highly recommend this jar.

This jar is exactly what I was looking for! It’s a bit bigger than I expected it to be but it turned out it would work better for the purposes I wanted to use it for! It looks very sturdy and on the heavy side. It was packaged very well and arrived very quickly! I’ll be buying more soon!

I like everything about the jar, which is perfect for making vanilla bean paste as described by Ina Garten. It is the perfect size in which to soak the vanilla beans in vodka for six months in order to soften them enough in order to squeeze the vanilla paste out of them.
