31-0066, 13.5-Inch Nonstick Steel Dome Lid for 14-Inch Wok Black

The dome covers my Joyce Chen wok. It fits and looks nice because it matches the black steel and ceramic. It can go over one of the steamer baskets, but for two in a stack, it's not fitting over the steamers (you can use a ring or just go with the steamer lid, but water boils off faster with no dome. After stir-frying, you can cover to retain heat, or put it on the wok when doing red-cooking (stewing in soy sauce with spices and seasonings) or when simmering chicken. You don't REALLY need a lid for a wok unless you do simmering or want to retain heat before scooping out the finished dish for the table. But it's very nice to have.

Never knew I needed this if only just to keep things warm until serving. Can do steaming things now.

I purchased this because I was looking for a cheap, lightweight lid for my 14" carbon steel wok. I was originally using a flat glass lid of the same size, but it didn't fit well on top and would sometimes slide into whatever I was cooking. I decided it was time to upgrade to an actual wok lid. Based on the price and the reviews, I decided to go with this one. I've been using this lid for a few months now and haven't encountered any real problems. I really enjoy this lid. It fits perfectly on my 14" wok, the dome lid allows enough space to have the wok overly full while cooking, and the lid is so lightweight you can store it anywhere or on top of anything with ease. One issue I've noticed is with the knob on the lid. It tends to get loose after using it each time. Is this a problem? No. It is so easy to hold the screw and tighten the knob a bit after each wash and if you take care of it gently each time, you shouldn't have to worry about it completely stripping the knob. I'm not sure if this is dishwasher safe, but it is easy to clean with a quick wipe of a damp sponge. I tend to not let it soak in the sink or scrub it with anything abrasive, but I'm not sure if that is completely necessary. I also dry it immediately after I wipe it and usually let it sit on the heat of the stove top for a few seconds to warm it up and evaporate any extra water the towel may have missed (mainly on the rolled edge.) For the price, you can't go wrong. I would recommend this to anybody looking for good quality wok lid.

Bought this for a Joyce Chen wok. Fit fine, just inside the lip of the wok. Turned out the Joyce Chen wok was junk, as the non stick started coming off after a few uses. Bought a different brand 14” stainless steel wok, and this lid works great on it, and fits just inside the lip of the new wok.

This is a nice wok lid that is simple in design and works well. It is durable and easy to clean. Why spend more?

This lid is a great addition to wok cooking. I bought it to replace a glass lid that broke and am able to use it for two woks of different sizes. The inside of the lid also seems to remain clean only needing a swipe of a sponge. Wish I had purchased it earlier!

It's a nice wok cover. The dome shape gives plenty of room inside so the cover won't touch the food. However, the side of the cover on the outside has to be dried well after wash, or else water can be trapped there and get rusty. But other than that it works well.
