I use the Vintage Tradition Tallow Balm on my face and hands, especially during the winter when my skin gets very dry. It works extremely well. I use it every day and my skin stays smooth, soft, and comfortable without feeling greasy. It’s been especially good for my face, which usually gets tight and dry in cold weather. This balm actually fixes that instead of just sitting on top of the skin. I also want to mention their customer service. My order arrived damaged during shipping, and they handled it immediately. They were kind, responsive, and sent a replacement right away with no hassle. Great product and a company that stands behind it. I’ll definitely keep using it.

I think I am on my third container of this product, and I absolutely love it. I use it on my face every day, but I also apply it to my hands and arms. It smells wonderful and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and nourished. It is a little expensive, but the quality is excellent and it lasts a long time. When compared to the price of high-end moisturizers, this is well worth it. The ingredients are very clean, which is important to me. Highly recommend!

3/18/24 UPDATE: I have been using this for 7 days now, and I have mixed feelings. I was expecting that my hands, feet, and lips would be greatly improved. My lips do seem somewhat better, but like I stated before, I don't like tasting lavender, so I'm planning on switching to a non-flavored tallow lip balm. My feet do seem less dried out, but not "soft" yet. My hands are confusing me the most, they seem slightly "more rough/dry" after 7 days of use. The company did send an email stating that during the first 7 days of use, your skin might go through some sort of detoxification process, so I will continue to use and see what happens. My overall review after 4 days of use is positive. I feel like it is working as expected. 3/14/24 3/11/24 - Applied 3x a day to my feet and hands. Applied 2x to my legs and lips. 3/12/24 - Applied to my feet and hands at night and covered with gloves and socks. Applied to my lips also. 3/13/24 - Applied to my feet and hands at night and covered with gloves and socks. Applied to my lips also. 3/14/24 - Applied to my feet and hands at night and covered with gloves and socks. Applied to my lips also. PROS: -The lavender scent is nice. -Once you warm it up in your palm and use your finger to kinda "mix" it around and smooth it out, it becomes smoother and more "lotion/cream" like, and goes on well. (I use my thumbnail to "scrape" out about enough to cover the top of my thumbnail, then warm it in my palm.) CONS: -Even though I only applied a small amount to my lips, I could still "taste" it. This won't be successful as a "lip balm" for me. I'll have to keep looking. (Or maybe later order the unscented.) -The price. It's a steep price! But, I do understand that it's only 3 natural ingredients and it's made in the USA, so yes, it's going to cost more. -As stated above, straight from the jar this is a "hard balm", but the consistency changes when you warm it up in your palm. Yes, I just started using it, but wanted to comment my initial thoughts.

I do a lot of sewing and knitting. Knitting with wool yarn is the worst. Every spring I have split fingers, sore and rough hands and yet the beautiful socks are worth it all. This year I made more than ever for a hospice, my hands could sand wood they were so rough and my fingers split open, I had to stop knitting for the time. I found this Balm, was recommended by another sewist, said it was wonderful. I have enough creams and money spent, could open my own store. Gave this balm a try and within 3 days, my hands were so smooth, couldn't hear them rub together. Couple splits yet on the fingers but two days later they were gone. I picked up my knitting needles yesterday, my hands are under control now and I am so grateful to find this balm. It is expensive but worth every penny when your hands hurt even to bump them. I use about 1/4 tsp on my hands and within minutes it is soaked into my skin. Not greasy, slick, or sticky and IT WORKS!!!!!

This is a lovely product and brand. I’ve been using this mostly on my face, neck, chest and hands. My skin feels so soft and hydrated when I apply it. I’m 39 with combo/acne prone skin. I have had had no adverse reactions to this, my skin loves it. It does seem to help lessen breakouts a bit, and very healing to the skin. My one complaint is the scent. It smells very much like the ingredients, a strong fish oil smell is present along with the mixture of herbal oils. But it doesn’t last long, I usually spray a bit of perfume on my chest or apply some other lotion on my body quickly after I apply this to my face and that helps counter the fish oil smell. I’m curious about there other blends that don’t use the fish oil but I was a bit worried about applying olive oil on my face being so acne prone. I also recommend scooping out a bit into your palm and mixing it with your finger, it becomes whipped and very easy to spread onto the skin. Overall I recommend, it’s a very nice product, that your skin will love! I’m definitely going to repurchase and try other scents too!

I love this product so much! I’ve been hesitant to try tallow balm for my eczema for years now just because of the price, but once nothing was working for my 18 month old son, I decided we’d give it a go. It improved patches that he’d had for over month after 2 uses, and they were completely gone in a week. My own stubborn patches are instantly soothed, no itch or irritation, and it doesn’t sting when you apply it like all other eczema products do for me, I love it. You need so little when you apply this jar will last forever, even with both of our outbreaks, AND the jar is a reusable glass jar??? I really wonder is this product could get better. I’m so happy we’ve found something that works so well for both of us! No more eczema-creams-that-never-worked graveyard. One product that does it all!

This product give your skin silky appearance, natural product, gives you natural look. Doesn't last long though, it will be better if its in a tube

My son suffers from terrible rashes on his legs that are dry, patchy and burn/irritated him. Since using this he is much more at ease and his legs no longer hurt, the marks are also fading! His skin also looks much more smooth. Works amazing and worth the price as a little goes a long way!
