Easy install horn quality excellent.
These horns are awesome. They sound perfect and the install was extremely easy and quick. The only thing you need with these horns is a seperate 12v wiring harness that plugs into the existing ground, and 2 leads to plug into each horn. It was $20. Wires get messy after install but nothing a zip tie or black electrical tape can’t take care of.

Great fit for Subaru! Instructions and pictures below
My 2018 Subaru Impreza came with the standard wimpy horns that sound more like the Roadrunner saying "meep meep!" than an actual car horn. This set of Hella horns was a perfect replacement for the factory ones. I was able to install the horns in the same two factory locations and was even able to use the factory positive wire and connector for each one (the factory wiring harness connector was a perfect fit for the contact on these horns, so I didn't have to cut any wiring or use any kind of adapters). The one thing I did have to add was a short piece of wire to connect one of the horn terminals to the mounting bolt on each horn to provide the ground connection. On the factory horns the ground is built into the mounting bracket but on these there is actually a separate ground terminal. This was an easy task though. I just used a short piece of 10 AWG wire and crimped a .25" female tab connector on one end and a ring connector on the other. Easy! Now my car actually sounds like a car with a classic honk sound! Tips: - You can download the Hella app on your phone if you want to hear what all their different horn types sound like. Subaru install instructions: - If you have a Subaru you can easily replace the top horn by just removing a couple of plastic trim pieces under your hood, the top horn is mounted right near the center of the front cross support beam by the radiator. (see my pictures) - For the lower horn on your Subaru it is most likely below the passenger side headlight. You don't have to remove the bumper cover to access it though (as some people will tell you). You can remove the trim piece and foglight/DRL on that side of the car and have access to the horn through the hole there. Just pry the trim piece away. You will then need to remove two of the clips under the car so you can pull down the splash guard and access the two clips and one bolt that attach the DRL to the car. Once you remove those you can slide the DRL out of the way and access the horn. (see my pictures for this as well)

NICE REPLACEMENT FOR 2013 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER!
Nice loud & deep sounding horns compared to the stock one's! One star reduction is that the driver's side factory harness is to short to plug in to the horn directly. Since the male plugs are identically placed on both aftermarket horns, you will need an extension wire for the driver's side plug but the passenger's side should not be an issue. I ended up getting a harness that plugs into one of the factory connectors & has two connectors feeding out. See pics for visual:) P.S. I did try flipping around the driver's side horn but it hits the radiator coils.

Good upgrade over those old OEM ones.
Decided it was time for some new honkers for my 1998 4runner since my oem ones were dinkie and sounding really funny. One of them went bad and gives off a strange sound. Put these on an they are an awesome upgrade. Horns are a much louder & have a deeper tone and demand attention when used! Thankfully toyota is toyota and makes it easy and has been using the same single pin horn connector forever so they plug right into my factory horn wires. For you 3rd gen 4runner and probably 1st gen taco people out there the horns in the toyota kit will fit but you will have to do some slight modifications to one of the horn brackets. but it's very easy. First thing you'll have to do is adjust the connector on the horn. They come out the box at the wrong angle for our trucks and the horn wire won't reach it to put in. They rotate though so just push down hard on the connector to make it spin around. It spins but it's very stiff so you have to push hard, don't be afraid to. First photo is after I rotated them. Secondly, at least for my 4runner the passenger side horn didn't fit because of the ac line right next to it. All I had to do was drill a hole higher up on the bracket to clear it. roughly 31mm from center of the old hole to the center of the new hole. In the pictures it looks like it's touching the ac line but I promise you it's not. Its about a 12mm gap in between it and the horn so it's plenty of space. You will also have to use a regular box end wrench on the passenger bolt now since the horn is moved up and blocks socket access from the front. Overall really liking these new horns so far, they are good value and definitely work well and they fit great even though they are larger than the ones I had before. They aren't touching on any part of the grill or other pieces around it either. Easy good upgrade!

Money well spent the second time
Bought this back in 2022 to replace the weak factory ones that came in my vehicle, perfect for the last almost 4 years LOUD, STRONG and definitely gets quick attention when I’ve had to use it. Unfortunately just recently one gave out, so guess who’s gonna be a repeat customer? Yep just purchased another pair, money well spent

Great horn
Great horn. You have to install it to have it work. Just connecting it and testing won't honk. Must have to be grounded. It's louder than stock horn for sure.
