Not caught anything!!
Works well in theory but not caught a sausage with it!! It’s been out and loaded for 2 weeks and not 1 mouse!! My plastic traps catch a couple a day using the same bait (cheese ball crisps / puffs are the dogs ********).Couple of issues. The mouse release doesn’t look easy as the lid is stiff and hard to open. Better hinges with a hook & eye would be so much better. The plastic window doesn’t look strong!!I need it to work so I can put in the attic. I have so much hope but not yet delivering!! Plastic traps working so much better but get “eaten” too easy!!

Waste of time and money
Doesn’t work at all. Been in use for 2months not caught anything. Switched back to old traps and caught a mouse instantly. The mice aren’t trapped they just come and go in these they’re rubbish.

Effective & sturdy
Surprisingly good - this caught the mother & litter of mice over a couple of days. Having been eating dry puppy food left for a hedgehog, that same food lured them into this humane trap. The clear lid is essential but look out for some hiding under the entrance ramps (which are the only possible weak points of this metal box). With a little care, I would expect this to be viable for some time.

Mouse restaurant
Product is sturdy and easy to set up unfortunately so far only one mouse has actually been caught. Otherwise, mice come in eat the bait and then leave the trap. Doesn't do the job or is meant to .

Brilliant, never fails.
We now have 2 traps, easy to use, the more it gets used the better as the mice can detect other mice have used it before. We’ve used these traps for 5 years, really to stop them entering the house come winter! Caught 43 wood mice & 8 bank voles this year, all released to wood land, brilliant trap but must be checked every day!!

Safe, humane and practical
I had tried to use cheaper plastic traps off the shelf and the mice chewed through enough to escape from them. These metal ones were escape proof and easily cleaned.A little pot with some water in (important) - some bedding - some birdfood - and over a period of a couple of weeks I was able to catch and release 16 mice far enough away for them not to return. Hopefully to be reunited with each other and not tempted to try and visit me again. :-) To release the mice - place the trap on the ground in some undergrowth, prise open the lid (both hands needed -it can be a bit stiff) and just leave it for a while for the inmate(s) to pluck up the courage to leave.

Mouse trap failure….
I really wanted this to work…..but it’s hopeless. Not one mouse entered the trap and it has been down for months. My “Little Nipper” traps are working well nearby but I’m disappointed the humane trap is useless.

Unreliable
I’ve had these before and thought that they were pretty good. My latest experience isn’t so positive, there was evidence that a mouse had been in there but it had escaped. This has happed on 3 separate occasions
