Mia Secret No Burn Acid Free Primer Xtra Bond Acrylic Uv Gel 0.5 Fl Oz

I use the gel x method for my nails and the past few times I’ve done them, I’ve had at least 1 nail pop off within a few days after applying, whereas they used to last me 2-3 weeks. I’m not sure what changed but I kept hearing about protein bond and wanted to try this because of the low price point and good ratings. I was not disappointed!! I’ve had them on two weeks and they have not BUDGED- not even loosened around the cuticles. Picture 1 is when I first did them and picture 2 is today, two weeks later. I’m actually a little worried I won’t be able to get them OFF when it’s time. We’ll see- but the product definitely works as advertised!

This is awesome. I give myself gel polish manicures at home, and even though I dehydrate my nails with rubbing alcohol I almost always get some peeling after about 2 days and have to touch up from there. I finally got around to trying to troubleshoot and ordered this. I'm now on day 7 and no signs of any peeling whatsoever. My nails look great. I used this after buffing my nails and cleaning with rubbing alcohol, and once this dried a little (~10 seconds) I started with my gel base coat and did my usual routine from there. No burning at all and no problems with my usual application process.I'll update this review once I know how long my polish makes it but I had to rave about it.Update: On day 8 I got a chip on one of my thumbs. The rest of my fingers seemed fine, so I redid that one nail and we'll see how long it gets me. At this point I think my nails will grow enough that I'll have to repaint them all before I get any serious chipping/peeling issues.September 2016 update: Still love this stuff and I wouldn't do my nails without it. I usually do my nails every 2 weeks and at that point my nails still look good, but are just growing out.

My bottle leaked in the bubble wrap which was a bit sticky to take out. I felt just a slight tiny burn when I cured my nails. Other than that my hard gel overlay on my naturals has not chipped after almost a week.

I finally found a primer that does what it needs to do! As the TikTokers say "The retention is retentioning." I do soft gel overlays at home and this has really elevated my manicures. Up until now, I felt like retention was the only thing standing between me and professional sets, but now I can have a salon manicure at home! Make sure to really scrub the nail good with some rubbing alcohol and then put this down. No lifting for 3+ weeks!
