I loved these dried strawberries. They tasted fresh and had a moist, soft, chewy consistency, but they weren't all stuck together as some have described in their reviews.Note to potential buyers: yes, they are sweetened, so if you're looking for a candy-like treat, you will probably like these too. If you're looking for a more natural, unsweetened fruit product, then these probably aren't for you.

I guess it's my fault that I didn't read the ingredients. This is not naturally dried strawberries and no there ingredients .They have a ton of sugar. I find them pretty disgusting. Even as candy they are not tart just super sweet. I don't recommend them at all. I already placed them in the trash.

G'day, About 1:00 this morning my wife woke me up. I am diabetic and had made a major insulin error and was almost to the point of low blood sugar coma. After a couple of handfuls of the only thing handy, these strawberries, my blood sugar increased enough for me to be at an acceptable level and was able to sleep.In all honesty, I may not have been here to right this review without having these strawberries handy.And I think they taste great even when I am feeling like death warmed over.Thank you

These are dried strawberries, similar to dried cranberries, and the like. So that means a lot of natural sugar is retained as well as having added sugar (yep, nearly all dried fruit has added sugar). Do NOT compare these to freeze dried. Different process, different result. Also, different price range.That being said, they are really sweet. More candy like than most dried fruit I have had. Still, I find them tasty.These are dried with added sugar. Also has citric acid, sulpher, and for whatever reason.. FD&C red 40.Product of Taiwan.Overall, they look and taste as expected. Definitely sweet. More sweet than berry tasting, yet I can tell they are strawberries. I think they are fine for noshing, for baking, and for adding into oatmeal and trail mixes. Moist, they DO Not just stick together; I can pour them out and they are loose.Maybe I would buy these again, not sure yet. WHY the food coloring though?

I am not very pleased with these strawberries. I got them to put in oatmeal and these just won't work. These would be better as a snack but personally I won't eat them. They have added sugar which defeats the healthy snacking practice. I didn't care for the taste but my 3 year old loves them, I won't give him a lot because of the sugar though. I feel like strawberries have enough sugar in them that you don't need to add any, also it really took away from the strawberry flavor. I would have returned them but I had to open them to realize I didn't like them.

The taste was excellent. These are dried, not freeze dried, so they must be used within a year, and much sooner when opened. The 1 lb. is like drying 4 or 5 lbs. of fresh berries, making the product worth the money ( if you just love berries as I do).

What is advertised as Dried Strawberries that are “the most nutritious healthy snack from around the world” is in fact gel candies that have a heavy coating of sugar and are colored with so much Red Dye 40 that that is all you can taste. They are disgusting. I will not allow my grandchildren to eat this kind of unhealthy snack. This order is going into the garbage can.The posting is deceptive and misleading. No where on the site does it list sugar or red dye as ingredients. In fact, the photo of the Nutrition Facts purposely omits the part that shows the ingredients.I cannot believe that reviewers of this product can honestly give it a good rating. It lends doubt to the review process.

I thought I was buying dried strawberries. Strawberry is listed as the first ingredient, but the second ingredient is sugar, then citric acid, Sulphur, FD&C Red 40. A dye! They taste strawberry-ish, super sweet tasting as it is like a soft gummy texture. Jelled candy. Reminds me of jellied fruit, which it is. I wanted just a dried strawberry. I will not by again. Country of Origin Thailand. If you like a jellied sweet this is perfect.
