Very sturdy, Versatile, Great Value
I searched around for a desk my 17 year old son could use for his "beats" making station. I bought this desk even though it had limited reviews. The design is exactly what he needed. My son is 6'2 and the height is very accomodating. It arrived promptly and was well packaged, but be warned, it is pretty heavy and I could only slide it around on the floor myself. It took 2 people to carry it up the stairs. My son unpacked it and got it ready for assembly and my son in law put it together in a very short time. It is a very good looking contemporary design and extremely solid. My son absolutely loves it.

Junk Pure And Simple
Received the item and it was defective out of the box, holes on two pieces were drilled incorrectly making assbly impossible to complete. Seller refused to return or exchange it without paying an exorbitant return shipping and restock charge close to one hundred dollars. Don't let my mistake become your mistake. Buyer beware.

Love it!
I LOVE my desk! Exceeded my expectations. The desk surface itself looks like it could be metal in the pictures but it is not. Either way it is very sturdy and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious desk for a small space.

Damaged.
Product came quicker than expected but the box was damaged on the side, looked like maybe fed ex cut it to get a grip on the heavy box, also two big gashes on the back of the box foam gushing out. Damage to the desk: On the table top itself the back top area is bubbling... I also have a massive scratch on the left hand corner of the table top... very ugly to look at. Because the box was damaged, no way I could repackage it so at that point, I decided to build it. All pieces are heavy & it took me, a le woman, with minimal help from a ten yr old, an hour max to build. To the one reviewer who asked if the screws are supposed to stick out like that, ya did it wrong, reverse the top parts to both the bottom shelves. Its a big desk and its very very sturdy. I am just VERY unhappy with the damage as I paid for a NEW DESK not for what I got instead.

4hr assembly from a relatively smart guy. Mic stand/Monitor clamp spot? NO! Ugly/Heavy.
I don't know why I thought it looked nice initially when bought, but when it arrived, it took several minutes to carry the heavy parts up the stairs, so had to take it in multiple trips. Once all pieces were in the room, it took about 3.5-4 hours of normal paced assembly. The directions are vague and images are sometimes unclear of orientation of part arrangement, but the assembly was a complete nightmare. Once it was finally put together, i realized how ugly it was. The other bad part is if you want to attach a monitor stand or microphone stand with clamps, you'll have to remove the entire top section of the table which is terribly heavy and annoying, and ghetto rig it so the clamp can awkwardly fit in between the top and middle parts of the console. Basically, you cannot use a clamp monitor or mic stand anywhere behind the table, unless you want to put it on the absolute top right or left, which would require a tall tall chair.
