Good buy
Good buy. The basket is very versatile helping me to get rid of some stuff that always are around the grill making that a busy space to work. The stainless steel can be a little challenging to clean sometimes but the others qualifications of this product, like the good and deep tray, the cover worth the effort.

Casserole dish with insulated carrying bag
Nice size and very usable. Insulated carrying bag is strong and has extra storage plus heat/cold pack.

too small for a slab of ribs, otherwise OK
I bought it to marinate slabs of ribs, but it won't hold a big slab of baby backs, or St Louis style spareribs, even it you cut them into sections. Too shallow. It is the right size for a small london broil or other small roast cuts. Serves the purpose pretty well for smaller cuts of meat so is an improvement over a ziploc bag. Haven't tried it yet for grilled or roasted veggies...but think it's appropriate. I used a perforated wok style grilling basket that always wobbled around, this likely will be an improvement.

Great design, flimsy product
This is a great design and larger than I thought which makes it great for a lot of chicken wings or a big flank steak. However the tray itself is thin plastic that flexes. The basket is very thin metal and as you can see from the photo the corners aren’t attached. I wouldn’t use it as a grill basket on a very hot fire. As for the lid, same deal. Plastic hinges don’t seem like they will last very long. I’ll use it, as I love the design.

Having the basket in its own container is great! Using it to thaw chicken, making the all the thawing juice at the bottom and taking the chicken out easy. More sustainable than having to take a ziplock bag, etc. I also used it on the grill, marinated some veggies and straight to the grill! Was perfect. Good quality steel and good thickness! Food doesn't burn because it's too thin. Worth the money!
