Are these suitable for surfing in?

Hi. They're a snug fit in good quality neoprene. Nice soft rubber gripper sole. They have an adjustable ankle strap that lets you cinch up good and tight, if that's what you want. Haven't surfed in them but good on a SUP. Great on the beach and capable on sharp coral. I've also used them as a fin sock when diving. Pleased with my purchase. Hope this helps.

Do these socks keep your feet completely dry when in the sea?

No, but they are not designed to keep the feet dry, just warm. We all find that most of these socks are broader to fit mens feet, not us women swimmers. Water will get inside any of them- these are fine for he price and I would buy them again. They are much easier to get off than the boots, I have found.

Durability not very good. Seam failed after three wears.

Worn three times - once in a lake and twice in the sea and rinsed after both uses. Would have been great but the seam by the ankle has come apart creating a hole.Easy to use and stretch and wearability good, but not durability I’m afraid.
