If you ever read a book on the book of Daniel let it be this one. It's just one of the most amazing books I've ever read and it's important for this time. I'm talking about 2024 and beyond. Please take the time to read this book and it will take you to a place of understanding and give you great peace in a time when the world is in a total state of turmoil.

Another inspiring, truthful, hopeful look at End Times
Up until this book, I never completely understood the importance and relevance of Daniel to prophecy nor how well this Old Testament book relates to what Jesus said in Matthew and what John wrote about in Revelation in the New Testament. Dr. Jeremiah clearly reveals everything God intended for us to know about what is coming after the Rapture and what His chosen people are going to experience during that time. It is a book that will arouse all of the feelings people should experience when they learn of God's complete plan for and total control of His creation - fear yet reassurance, mystery and intrigue yet with ease of understanding, apprehension but followed by hope, sadness then joy, and proof without any doubt about the accuracy and dependability of divine scripture and God's omniscience. It is so encouraging while urging us to be diligent about doing the work He has planned for us while we still have the time. If there is anyone who feels that he doesn't have the ability to understand biblical prophecy, whether Old Testament or New, then this book will inspire you to dig deeper, to study those things God has put out there for us to know and understand, to greatly anticipate what He has in store for us, and to seriously long for His return.

Made Daniel come to life
This is an excellent book! David Jeremiah makes you feel like you are there. Each section open with a verbal reenactment of the biblical story then the scripture and the culture and times are explained.I used this book while I was leading a Bible Study group on the book of Daniel. It gave me a lot of additional information and insight that I was able to meld into the other study we were following.

Great Book on the Life of Daniel
I read this book by Dr. David Jeremiah. If anyone is interested in the life of Daniel of the Bible you will want to read this one. It is written as a novel for the story of Daniel's life but there is a study section after each chapter to bring the reader into the Scriptural side of the life of Daniel. I don't think you can miss by reading or buying this book.

Good dispensational approach
This is a readable, layman's approach to a "commentary" on the Old Testament book of Daniel. The author takes a conservative, dispensational approach to his understanding of the book. This is the same basic position that I take. His explanations are clear, and his applications to contemporary life are appropriate. For all of those items, I would give the book a 5-star rating. However, two significant areas caused me to give the overall book a 4-star rating. One of those is the fact that much of the book is not written by David Jeremiah at all. Each chapter begins with a narrative story, taking the content of the book of Daniel, and approaching it from a narrative perspective. These opening narratives are well-written, designed to capture a reader's attention, and succeed well in forming a suspenseful and imaginative introduction to each chapter. The difficulty I have with the book is that none of these narratives was written by David Jeremiah. A reader must carefully read the "Acknowledgments" at the end of the book to discover they were all written by Tom Williams. To be fair, Mr. Williams' name should be identified as a co-author of the book. The second area that concerns me is that Dr. Jeremiah uses old commentaries to support his interpretations. For examples, he relies heavily on books by Leon Wood (1973), John F. Walvoord (1971), H. A. Ironside (1920), H. C. Leupold (1949), etc. While these are good sources for understanding Daniel, it would help Jeremiah's book greatly if he would have also interacted with more current scholarship on the book. Suggested additions could include Andrew Hill, "Daniel," Expositor's Bible Commentary, 2008; Paul R. House and David G. Firth, Daniel: An Introduction and Commentary, 2018; and Rodney D. Stortz, Daniel (ESV edition): The Triumph of God's Kingdom, 2016, etc.

Book of Daniel
Thank You Lord for the Book of Daniel. Thank you Pastor David Jeremiah for the scriptures from the Book of Daniel. Thank you for the insight to create an understanding story line. It brought for myself a clear visual journey. A clear perspective of not only Daniel and his friends but how our Lord is constant in our lives: family, work, neighbors and especially Worship! Thank you to all who contributed to the work in this book.

Inspirational!
Dr. David Jeremiah’s “Agents of Babylon” teems with prophetic insights, and visions from the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament. Some of these have been fulfilled while others are evident in the world we’re living in today.Using a combination of Bible teaching and dramatization this well-written and fascinating exploration of scripture brings to life the decadence, cruelty, and power of Babylon, the strength of faith of Daniel and his friends as well as the sovereignty of God. The book is structured with fictional section at the first of each chapter followed by a section of facts demonstrating its relevant application to the reader’s life.As a believer I thoroughly enjoyed “Agents of Babylon and highly recommend it especially to those interested in the prophetic insight of the Old Testament, some of which has come to pass while some is yet to come.

Agents of Babylon
I always remember reading Daniel when I was younger. I as a Christian look forward to the time when God rules his kingdom. I didn't realize the relevance of the book of Daniel to revelation. Now it has been explained I can see how Daniels visions dreams and devotional contact with God gave him an insight into the apocalypse. Though he didn't know it he was given a truly unique view into what is going to be a chaotic time. A time of great suffering and a time of great wonder. We must see too, and be ready for God and let the kingdom come, and his will be done. Time is short!!!! Be ready.
