This works great with black canvas shoes/sneakers! Had a pair of black Van’s that were beat from wearing them while walking my dogs in the sun. The sun had turned them a rust color. One quick application and they look much better! Very easy product application - just shake, press down on canvas or similar material you are coloring to get the sponge wet. I recommend wearing gloves so you can hold your shoe and get all of the little spots firmly. Posted a before and after application image.

Came with no cap? How am I supposed to store this item once I’ve used it. I obviously got someone’s return, though it doesn’t appear to be used.

Unfortunately since the dye or ink is not permanent and comes off when exposed to a little water it defeats the point so other positive features don't matter. You are better off using a wide tip permanent marker.

Bought this to restore my beloved mountain buggy after reading lots of tips online. I didn’t want to fork out £120 for new seats based on the fact they were just badly faded and not broken. This product worked perfectly, was so easy to use & dried quickly. I applied 2-3 coats to all areas of the buggy and it came out brilliantly. I realise this is for canvas shoes, but the material of my buggy is very similar and so it took very well. It’s also left it with a sort of waterproofing, I rinsed in cold water to make sure there was no excess & check that it wouldn’t run in the rain and it held its colour well. It also didn’t have any nasty chemical smell either, so that’s another plus. Would recommend!

Cubre muy bien en una sola pasada es un buen tono de negro para zapatillas de lona. Primero. Las lavé bien para eliminar cualquier mancha o suciedad que impida que absorba el tinte y también esperé que se sequen bien. Empecé por la parte de atrás para esperar que el aplicador se empape bien en tinta, y luego continué por el resto de las zapatillas, dejando la puntera para lo último. Mis zapatillas eran fáciles ya que eran todas negras si no es así, hay que ir con sumo cuidado. Hoy comprobé que al sol se veían muy bien, no necesitaron una segunda mano. Veremos un día de lluvia y el paso del tiempo, pero eso es otra historia.
