My boyfriend absolutely love these knives I got him for Christmas, said they were the best present he got that year.. nice and sharp

I have been buying knives all my life in piecemeal fashion. I finally decided to get me a complete set, once I read about the Damascus steel knives. I thought this was a hype and so I checked Consumers Report and on line and found that these knives have a 9.6 rating. I don't think it gets any better than that. So, I washed them, dried them and put them in my knife block. I purchased the Imperial Set since this is basically all I will ever need and based upon the 40 plus years of cooking, these are the only knives anyone ever needs for home cooking. I can't see the need for more knives than this Imperial set. They are very sharp but since they came very late, I haven't had the time or reason to try them yet. These are incredibly well balanced and of medium-light weight. Absolutely comfortable to hold and wield. I will update very soon on their sharpness as soon as I decimate a green pepper and an onion.

Sharp, good quality, comfortable grip… be careful washing them they are vary sharp… They were a gift for my husband and he uses them daily…Two of our friends have bought the same ones we really like them they look good in the kitchen on our magnetic standing cutting board!!!!! Would buy again :)

So, for the money, these knives appear to be a great value. They feel solid without being overwhelmingly heavy. You really must be careful in handling them, as they are EXTREMELY sharp!UPDATE: I previously mentioned in an earlier certain of this review that I contacted customer support to clarify something. I mistook this set for the Tsunami collection they also make.As for their quality control, their packaging is quite lively. However, one of the knives came out of the box with some sort of rubbery substance that wouldn't easily come out. I almost cut myself trying to remove it under the hot water stream in the kitchen sink!Again, great value for the money!

Absolutely beautiful knives! I bought a magnetic stand for it and it's just stunning. They are super Sharp. I couldn't be more pleased.
