This is the 2 1/8", model CI-55. For the CI-35, look for brush size 1 3/8".

No, there is no type of ring, the handle is one smooth shaft all the way to where the bristles start. I have long thick hair which I blow dry after every wash. It is impossible for any hair to get caught. Highly recommend it.

This is the CI-80, largest brush in that collection, so the number is 80.

Q: how do you clean this type of brush

Get two brushes and rub them together. Keep rubbing them in different places and all the hair comes off and they look great.
