Gift for grandson

My 10 year old son has always opted for comic style books such as Tom Gates and Bunny Vs Monkey. We have bought various chapter books for him to read but they have never really captured his attention. He has tried to stick with Harry Potter but hasn’t made it passed the first book, he found them quite dark and heavy going. Stumbled across the first book in this series in a book shop. He couldn’t put it down. He read it in a week!!!!! This is unheard of for him as normally I have to cajole him along to read. He asked to get the second book in the series so I ordered the set. They arrived yesterday and he has spent most of today reading. Yay for these books. He loves them.

Cannot fault this collection. Daughter loves them SO much (she’s a young and gifted reader). Highly recommend.

I love this series so much! Legacy did come a bit damaged but it was bound to happen anyway.

Kept a 12 year old enthralled

Was given the first book by a child in class to read. I was hooked straight away! Have now read all titles including 8.5 and am eagerly awaiting the 9 in the series.
