First banjo I ever bought - surprised at quality and sound
I have to say, the woodwork is appealing, the neck is playable, and the tone is pretty amazing. A banjo is not like a guitar, so you can't judge it the same way. This one is sensitive and dynamic. The chrome hardware is maybe a tad cheap-feeling, but it can be basically tightened up. The gig bag is quite sturdy. And the included tuner is a nice little number, better than my Snarks. The instrument plays well, if you have the fingers for it. I play bare-fingered, but you can buy the finger picks for these. I'd call this a great value for a starter. I have been a guitarist for nearly 50 years and I feel like I get to learn something new again. Quite enjoying my Pyle banjo kit!

Great For Beginners
This banjo arrived at my home well packaged and undamaged. The construction is solid, the moveable bridge is seated perfectly beneath the strings, as the intonation is spot on. The only cheap feel to this are the strap clips. They are prone to pry apart, allowing the strap hooks to slip off. The included strap is something they shouldn’t have even bothered with. It’s junk. But as far as playability and resonance and sustain are concerned, this is a solid performer. It’s great for beginners. Learn to play on this, then spend more money next time on a higher quality one.ONE WORD OF WARNING: This instrument comes with no warranty. They will give you a two-year warranty if you post a review and then tag them on social media. For the price, I'll take my chances. I don't appreciate such gimmicks.Buy metal finger picks. The included ones are plastic, which is fine for the thumb pick, but not for the fingers. To bring out the brightness of the instrument, you need metal finger picks.A worthwhile purchase for its intended purpose. This banjo gets knocked by online reviewers, but I suppose like anything there can always be a bad one in the batch. Mine is a keeper.

Great
This is a pretty nice banjo well made looks nice the only problem is I can't play any instrument to save my life and YouTube videos suck so bad when your trying to learn it's not worth the time or effort but I do like what I got so there is that

So Far So Good! Definitely Recommend this Banjo!
The media could not be loaded. First off, let me start by letting you know that I created a video for you to see what comes with this purchase. I highly recommend checking that out!Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this kit. The Banjo itself is very well made and I really enjoy the fretboard. It's just nice to the hands and makes it easy to slide your fingers. I play guitar so I am still trying to get used to using this as a banjo is meant to be played! But I will tell you, it is not made cheap. It feels legit all the way around. This comes with all that you need to get started. The tuner is great and I've used it on all my instruments as it works all the way around. It's nice to have one on the side instead of using my phone all the time.I was confused at first why they included so many finger pics but now I know that it's because that is what's primarily used to play the banjo. Again, I play guitar so I don't use fingerpicks but these fit well and I've even been using them on my guitars as well. The kit comes with extra strings and a warranty. It also has a strap that comes with it and a gig bag. I would probably get a replacement gig bag and strap more down the road but it's great to have something for now.It took me a day or two to notice that my banjo did take small damage during the delivery. I will include the picture of it and reached out to the seller, to which they offered to replace it and take care of the whole thing for me. However, because I have really enjoyed the one I have, and don't want to wait for another but would rather keep this and keep playing, I haven't sent it back. All in all, I would highly recommend this Banjo for anyone trying to learn. I hope to upload another video with me actually reviewing it and playing what I've learned in the future. Heads up though, if you are coming from a guitar-playing background, this is pretty different from what you normally do on the guitar. But it is still a ton of fun and a must-have!

Quality sound and build
This is my first banjo and I'm pleased to say this looks and sounds just like what I'd hoped for. The instrument was well packaged, a custom sized box with padding and paper around the strings. It comes with a little manual that was well written and gives you some basics on how to tune the instrument, but as a novice I turned to YouTube to get an overview on setting up a banjo. It turned out to be not very different from a guitar, a lot of adjusting the first few times as the instrument settles and then it has held in tune pretty well for the past week.I'm having fun learning and didn't have to get anything else, this kit came with the finger picks, a tuner (though I use an app), and extra strings in case I break one down the road. Nice to have it all together with the case too. All in all I would recommend this for the price and quality.

It seems to be a nice banjo
All in all a very nice beginner banjo. As a beginner I don't have a comparison to a more expensive banjo but it seems like a good deal for the price. The kit came with everything advertised EXCEPT in one of the pictures they show their app with 2 free months lessons. Apparently this is correct if you want to learn the guitar because they don't offer banjo lessons. Why advertise this in the banjo ad?

First Banjo for beginner
Received my Pyle banjo in good condition from Amazon. Everything looked fine to me. Since I am a beginner and this is my first banjo I have nothing to compare it with to give 5 Stars all around. The banjo looked well crafted with no flaws visible. It feels good in my hands and sounds good. Only thing is that the supplied tuner has no banjo tuning setting (that I could tell at least,) so I downloaded a tuning app to tune strings. I broke one string but luckily the extra set of strings came in handy. Did my first lesson from Youtube, so I am on my way to the Grand Ole Opera soon....
