Mini - Tesla to J-1772 Adapter - 40 AMP - Made in USA

I first bought a Lectron Tesla mobile charger to J1772 adapter which wouldn't work when connecting to my 2023 Genesis GV70 EV without me turning the car on and off a variable number of times after connecting the charger/adapter. Based on recommendations from the Genesis users forum, I purchased the TeslaTap mini and this coke can sized adapter has worked flawlessly. Highly recommend it.

I previously had a Lectron Tesla Adaptor which worked with most Tesla Destination Chargers (silver ones), but recently when I tried some newer Tesla Destination Adaptors (black ones) it failed to work. Ordered this item and it worked perfectly with those newer stations. It is so small and convenient too! Highly recommend it.

I have bought 2 of your adapters over the last 12 months. One direct. One on Amazon. Both have now failed after I have charged outside in the rain.EDITThey are sending me a new one.

Worked as advertised. As others have suggested needs a little lubricant as it can get hard to separate from the Tesla adapter.

Works on bmw i3 without incident, very nice portable size. Make sure you buy a small steel wire suitcase lock to prevent theft.
