Champagne for Lemonade money...
I purchased the YIHUA 926LED-IV because I needed a replacement for my ancient soldering station, which was well passed its sell by date. Before purchasing I thought very long and very hard because a). It was Chinese b). the price was exceedingly meagre for what it was claimed to be. However, I decided to take the plunge - after all it was through Amazon and if it wasn't "up to snuff" I could return it, right? Being a Prime member, it arrived at lunchtime next day. I took it out of its box, being surprised at the sturdiness and feel of quality, and assembled it, then turned it on. Wow, it heated to operating temperature in a flash, so I prepared a couple of strands of wire and prepared to solder - and I have never been so chuffed with a piece of kit in my life! Temperature pre-sets, multiple tip choice, four helping hands, a mag light, solder reel holder, tip cleaner and receptacle and a reel of solder FOR LESS THAN FIFTY (50) QUID?!?! Needless to say, it didn't get returned! Since that purchase, I have purchased from YIHUA a 982-III C210 Precision soldering station for micro work, a 948D-I Desoldering Station, and a 959D-II Hot Air Rework Station: they are all well appointed and of excellent quality. My planned purchases from YIHUA are the 982D-I Pro 2 in 1 Hot Tweezers & C245 soldering station and the 8509-I Precision Hot Air soldering station. You could say that, on the basis of that one purchase, I have become a YIHUA fan. Champagne for Lemonade money! 5*****

Impressive!
I recently purchased an amateur soldering kit, and it's been a fantastic investment for someone just starting out in electronics! The kit came with everything I needed to get started, including a soldering iron, solder, a variety of tips, a stand, and even a few practice components. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the learning curve much smoother than I expected. The soldering iron heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature, which is crucial for making clean, reliable joints. The included tips are of good quality, and the variety allows for versatility in different projects. I also appreciated the added extras like the desoldering pump and wire cutter, which have come in handy more than once. For a beginner like me, this kit offers incredible value. It’s user-friendly and well-suited for anyone looking to explore the world of soldering without breaking the bank. Whether you're fixing small electronics or working on DIY projects, this kit has you covered. Highly recommended for anyone interested in getting started with soldering!

Great Value Starter Station for DIY & Hobby Projects
If you’re like me — tinkering with small electronics, building gadgets, or repairing circuit boards — this YIHUA 926LED IV has been an unexpectedly nice little workhorse at a modest price. ✅ What I Like — Compact, Simple and User‑Friendly Compact & bench‑friendly: The whole unit doesn’t take up much space. That’s perfect if your workbench is small or you work at a kitchen table sometimes. Less clutter — but still all you need. Easy to use: Temperature control is done with a simple knob, and the dual LED display (set temp vs. real temp) makes it straightforward to dial in and monitor heat. The PID temperature stabilization helps keep the tip at a steady heat even when soldering, which matters for consistent solder joints. Good range for hobby work: With temperature settings from around 90 °C up to 480 °C, it covers everything from delicate electronics soldering to heavier joints. Ready out of the box: The kit often includes extra tips, solder wire, a sponge for cleaning the tip, and sometimes helping-hands/clip accessories — enough to get you soldering without having to buy much else. 💷 Value for Money — Very Good for the Budget‑conscious Maker For the price and what you get, this feels like a solid entry‑to‑mid‑level soldering station. You're not paying for premium professional‑grade gear, but for a hobbyist working on small electronics, modding, or repair — it delivers more than enough. The precision temperature control and included accessories make it a better value than a bare-bones soldering iron that might need extra purchases. ⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind (Depends on What You’re Doing) It’s best suited for light to moderate soldering tasks — small electronics, hobby boards, repairs. For heavy-duty or professional-grade continuous work, a more advanced station might pay off. Like many budget/hobby stations, the included tips or solder wire quality is just “good enough” rather than top-tier — but for occasional use or tinkering, it’s acceptable. As with all soldering gear, good ventilation and care (tip maintenance, cleaning, safe handling) really help — but that’s standard advice. 🎯 My Verdict (as a fellow hobbyist): If you’re building, modding, or repairing electronics, and don’t want to spend a fortune, the YIHUA 926LED IV is an excellent “starter-to-intermediate” soldering station. Compact, easy to use, and versatile enough for small to medium tasks — a solid purchase for hobby labs, DIY desks, or first soldering setups.

It works fine. I've used it for microelectronics soldering without problems.
I've used it for a short while. The soldering iron worked. It heats up and solders as well as my digital Weller (which I left behind in the USA). The bendy arms work quite well. The sponge could be bigger. For the price it is a very good deal.

Good value hobby soldering station.
I purchased this as I wanted a whole 'station' i could pick up and move on and off a shelf above my workbench without hunting for each item or having to unpack from a kit each time i needed it. The soldering stations works well for my electronics hobby needs. the magnifying glass has a light but feels a bit of a gimmick as both the glass and light are only tiny, I do like that they made this connect with no other wires so it just plugs directly into the station base. The soldering iron itself works well and has quite a bit of thermal mass so I had no issues with larger components. The soldering iron grip is comfortable and the length of the cable seems fine. I would of liked a more powerful light maybe with a fume extractor/filter instead of the magnifying glass but that's just personal preference.
