🔧 Power Up Your Projects with Style!
The T Tulead Yellow Wirewound Resistors pack includes four 4-ohm resistors rated at 100W each, designed for efficient heat dissipation and high insulation. Measuring 60x15mm, these aluminum resistors are perfect for a variety of electronic applications, especially when paired with heat sinks.

4 Ohm 100 Watt
All measured close to the 4 Ohms!Seems really good resistors! 100 watts!

The power resistors.
The price of the power resistors were very reasonable. And they did the trick as far as what I was using them for! And the time it has taken for shipping was very, very reasonable! I would buy more of them if I needed more!

Offers resistance, with a noteworthy lack of futility
Bought these to make a diy amplifier load tester, and they seem to be doing the job fine so far. Each one measured almost exactly the same, just over 2.1 Ω, which is technically outside the 5% tolerance, but let's be honest, you're paying $10 for 4 giant 100 watt resistors. At that price I'm just glad the things haven't exploded lol. I mounted them to some scrap chunks of thick aluminum in order to act as a heat sink, as the resistor housings may handle 100 watts intermittently, but not for extended periods.

Accuracy
Love how accurate these resistors are, all 4 right on the money 8 ohms exactly.

Thank you.
Take care of my small order.Good quality.

Surprisingly accurate. Big heatsink required to get at all close to 100 watts
As most buyers have done, I first measured the value of these resistors. Measurements were very basic with a 0.2% 4-1/2 digit DMM that I calibrate with my own references. Compensating for lead resistance these measured: 4.00, 4.00, 4.00 and 4.01ohms. Whaat? Checked them again and same values. These are way, way too accurate for $10, but that’s the data. The downside is in power handling (I’m speculating slightly here). I have other power resistors made by Dale ranging from 5 to 250 watts capacity, and they are all substantially larger, per watt, than these. I tested the Tulead resistors with a very large heatsink, clamping directly on the resistor bodies (not using the screw holes) and with thermal compound. At 150 watts into all 4 (series) continuously for around 5 minutes, I measured 120 degrees F on the sink and estimate maybe 130 on the top of the resistor body. 400 watts with this arrangement would be pushing it, even with a fan. For shorter term power or pulsed testing these Tulead units will be fine, but be mindful that it’s a lot of heat in a comparably small package. I will run some tests with a fan and try 200, 300 and (very briefly) 400 watts. Update to follow.

Exactly as described
Arrived exactly as described and worked great for the application. Soldered well into circuit. Changed a 1 ohm audio circuit into a 5 ohm circuit and now we don’t burn out head unit or ruin speakers.

Closer to +/- 10% than 5%
Measured 4.3,4.3,4.3,4.2 ohms on the 4 I received. Several other reviews were saying they received ones that were much tighter tolerance. This will be OK for my project since most high-end 1% ones are on back order until mid 2023, but I’ll buy a better brand next time.
