Fun for sons and dads alike :)
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for our nephew but soon it became my husband/son’s toy as the lights and moving wheels entertained my toddler and remote control anything drew my husband in.The crane comes with a wireless remote (you will need two AA batteries for it) that operates the crane. The crane comes with 4 rechargeable batteries in the package. You have the option of using a hook at the end of the crane or a bucket. The boys seemed to be enamored with the hook as the package comes with a log that you can hook and unhook. The crane makes realistic noises while in operation (you can also turn them off), lights up, and has 680 degree rotary. The only negatives we found over the week of playing with it is on our really tall, thick carpet the tracks would slowly come off after a long duration of turning and twisting. It was really easy to put right back on though. The other is that there wasn’t any directions that came in it; however, what man (or little boy for that matter) ever sits and reads directions.Overall a really fun and entertaining toy that any boy would love to have! Guess we will have to buy another for our nephews as this one is spoken for...

Hit of the Party!
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this remote control crane as a present for my nephews birthday. This was definitely the highlight present of the party! He absolutely loved it and wanted to open it up right away. Once he did every child at the party wanted a turn playing with it! This crane does way more than just move back and forth with the remote. It lights up in a variety of colors, the crane moves up and down and it even has sound effects to accompany each appropriate action. It turns in a 360 degree motion as well as driving back and fourth. I really appreciated that the batteries were included and I know my nephew appreciated this too! The crane plugs into the wall to charge as well. There are a lot of breakable pieces on this crane so I would definitely not recommend it for children under five years old. Overall this crane was a huge hit and I'm so glad I was able to purchase it for my nephew's birthday.

Should have went with the blocks
Crane received and opened to charge/check out before birthday tomorrow. This item came with only a USB charger with an unknown mm. size pin on the other end of the cable. I could find nowhere to plug in the pin on the crane to charge the batteries. If there is supposed to be a battery charging pack, it was missing, not sure.Decided to test and see if the batteries were pre-charged. Installed two AA batteries into remote, turned on crane, remote caused no functions to operate. Continued to try and identify what may be the problem while also trying to determine where the charging port might be located.Could not figure out either.Decided to make sure the batteries were installed correctly, noticed they were very hot. Maybe some kind of short, maybe a fire hazard, not sure. One of the battery springs was weak and dark colored, maybe from overheating. There were Zero instructions included, not even a photo showing charging method. At least it was broken immediately so I could return it right now. I did not request a replacement.I was very excited to give this as a birthday gift, I was equally disappointed that it did not work and no time to replace with something else.Waste of time.

Works and moves like a real crane!
Bought this for my 6 year old who loves all things mighty machine. He loves it! He loves that he can drive it around the house and that it works and moves like a real crane. I don't like that to charge it you have to have the plug in the "just right" position to get it to actually charge. The hook cable became disconnected tonight but we bought the protection plan and are waiting to hear back about repairing/replacing it.

Great gift for my son!
The first one I received came damaged, the box was broken, but once I went to assemble it I realized a crucial piece was broken. I called Amazon and they were so kind and helpful. I was a bit stressed because it was the week before Christmas. They assured me I would have a quality replacement in time for Christmas and I did. This was a gift for my 4 year old son and he absolutely loves it. He loves all construction trucks so getting a remote control one was exciting. He caught on how to work it very quickly. We've had fun doing challenges trying to pick up different items. The sound it makes when it starts is so fun, sounds pretty real! The lights are fun and I think the speed it travels at is perfect.

I can't stop my husband from playing with this crane
I bought this remote control crane for my grandchildren, but I can't keep it away from my husband. He loves the lights and maneuvering the hook to try to pick up the plastic log and the bucket. This is a pretty large yellow and black crane. The remote control is comfortable to hold and pretty easy to figure out which buttons to press to maneuver how you want it to move. It goes forward and backward, and the crane turns all the way around. The thing I did not like about it was having to take screws out and put them back in to open and close the battery compartments. Rechargeable batteries were included for the crane, but I had to supply the batteries for the remote control.

Cheaply poorly made fun
This is definitely a fun toy. My son and I love playing with it. It is just poorly made. Within the two weeks of opening it, the crane broke twice. The first time one of the wires got stuck in a gear. The second time the speaker wire broke off of the speaker, which wasn't so bad because its loud construction sounds don't stop while the crane is on. Thankfully, I'm savvy with electronics and was able to open it the crane up and fix. Months later the speaker wire came off again, this time tearing the copper tracing with it. The crane still worked, so I didn't bother fixing it. Now that the string that raises the boom broke, I'm going to install a switch or dial to control the sound.
