Beauty's Kingdom: A Novel (A Sleeping Beauty Novel)

Anne Rice is the queen of writing something that draws you into a separate universe. This novel ending her beauty series is absolutely the best example of how to end something. 10/10 would ready over and over (actually why I had to just by myself a copy).

Great book completed my neighbors set which she borrowed me to read. She didn’t have or even know this was the last book of the series. I gave it to her for her birthday. Now she is re reading the first three books and is excited to read this third one.

Loved it. It took me a while to get into this book series because its something that I have never read before. I read the first one a year ago and hated it. So I thought I would give it another try because I expected what was going to happen the shock factor was lower and that fact that I was able to connect into this fantasy world. It was fantastic. I am used to reading books as I am the characters and this is one of those books I had to read as just a book. But WHOA some of the scenes are graphic and well written, after reading it the second time I was immerced in each book I couldn't put them down. I bought all of them and loved each one for different reasons. Way to go Anne I am glad I gave this a second shot.

Ended too quickly though. Seemed rushed at the last couple of chapters. There was a build up the didn’t quite meet my expectations

The Romance Evangalist hit the nail on the head with their review. While this book was well written- the only thing that kept me reading was hoping that it was all going to pay off in the end. It didn't. Instead of it being a tantalizing erotic novel, it was a nostalgic tour of old characters and old scenarios. Anything new or interesting was merely hinted at. In the first three books the reader was experiencing things through the characters, their perspective and their journies. In this book the reader merely watches old characters re-visit and reminisce about all of their old adventures in Bellavalten. I found myself flipping forward a lot- hoping that something spicy was just around the corner. Nope.I loved the first three books. Hopefully if the story continues, Ms. Rice will use her formidable skills to take us as deep into the pleasures of Bellavalten as she did in the first three books.

Having been a fan of the Beauty trilogy for many years, I was extremely excited to begin reading Beauty's newest adventure. I was not disappointed! We jump forward 20 years from the leave off of Beauty's Release. I feel as though anyone could pick up Beauty's Kingdom and not be lost, even if the original 3 books have not been read. (Although I do recommended reading the original books, of course!) We get to delve into all sorts of erotic fun throughout the book, and do be warned that this is Erotica with plenty of lust and fiery passion.Anne Rice gives us another chance to visit Beauty, Laurent, Tristan and plenty of other favorites as well as adding in new and equally interesting characters. Queen Eleanor and the Prince have perished in an accident and its up to Beauty and Laurent to take over and keep up the erotic traditions of the kingdom. They change up a few traditions, get rid of some altogether and even make new traditions to make the kingdom one of their dreams. If you have been a previous fan of this series, you will enjoy your journey back into the Kingdom. New and previous readers alike can jump into Beauty's Kingdom and be whisked away to a land of erotic pleasures and carnal delights.

There could not have been a better ending to the series of beauty. I am in love with them book and honestly I hope many more read them. Love love love 10/10 highly recommend!!

Love Anne Rice and glad to have something to read... Knowing the last 3 books of this set, I am sure this will be just as hot

Bought again as I read this series many years ago

I have the other 3 books (as paperback, also in english language) at home, and they are some of my favorites.So i was waiting over years for a 4th book after the trilogy, and i have ordered it...But i was really disappointed.The trilogy was full of erotica, also sometimes a bit hard, but this book...was hard to read until the end.If you like the trilogy DONT buy this book.

Such a disappointment....It was so boring I gave up halfway through.

Very entertaining and highly imaginative!
