Q: Does this pencil smudge, smear under waterline? I'm looking to get Midnight Mystery.

It didn’t smudge but didn’t work great for me. It seemed too sticky & didn’t go on smoothly for me. Maybe I just got a bad (old) pencil.

Q: How do you advance the lead point?

I couldn’t figure it out either so I sharpened it. Big mistake! Became super soft and unusable. It just kept breaking off. Loved it until then.

Q: Come up with a better reusable product as this is maybe a one time use for lack of a way to sharpen. ruined 3 sharpeners

Yeah, NOT IMPRESSED. It was another lesson learned about stuff that sounds too good to be true - it usually is. Big disappointment. No way to sharpen it and once it's used one time, it's blunt, also drags on my eyelid, which I HATE. Don't waste your money!

Q: What is the safest way to sharpen this?

I use a cosmetic pencil sharpener. They’re inexpensive. I got mine for around $4.
