I purchased this set for my two year old son for Christmas. He loves it as well as his older, 4 year old brother. It is great to find a toy like this that isn't your typical "girl" themed tea party set. My sons LOVE hot cocoa so this was just perfect for them to role play with. We play cafe/restaurant often with this set. They love the step by step process of adding the mix, adding the water, stirring with the spoon, adding the marshmallows and delivering it with a plate and cookie! It is fantastic for learning step by step processes through play! The pieces are all durable, aside from the marshmallows that are hollow on the inside and my two year is still in the stage of putting everything in his mouth, I can see those pieces maybe not lasting as long as the others. Overall a truly wonderful toy!

My grandson had a lot of fun playing with this cute little set. The cookies are really nice quality with a little bit of weight to them. He loves the marshmallows. The only thing they could improve would be the lid on the teapot. I wish it had a function to make the lid not fall off while he is pretending to pour tea.

This set is so cute and sturdy. It even has marshmallows. Then I went to Melissa and Doug for my first grandchild. But, I thought I’d try Learning Resources to check quality etc. I’m so glad I did. I donated every other brand of play food and toys and bought everything Learning Resources has on the market for my granddaughter. She loves every set and gosh I’ve bought them all for her.Their fruit salad set, the tossed salad set, all of the food sets like breakfast lunch and dinner. My kids are obsessed with the big Learning Resources set of food, but my twins were often fighting over who got to run around with the cookies. I unashamedly got this "booster pack" for the cookies and marshmallows. 10/10, I now have plenty of cookies.BONUS POINTS:-You can fit both cups inside the kettle and the lid still fully shuts-You can fit both marshmallows in the hot chocolate container and the lid still fully shuts

The quality of the Learning Resources sets are just incredible. It reminds me of the play food I grew up with! The lid pops off the cocoa canister and the marshmallows fit inside. The plastic is thick and sturdy, none of that flimsy almost paper grade playfood.

Another great purchase from Learning Resources. We always keep the box to store the set in and just get it out when it is time to play. This was a great gift for Christmas; pairs well with their other kitchen items

This toy is absolutely adorable and highly interactive. I'm a speech-language pathologist and I use it for my winter thematic language unit. The kids love it! So wonderful for pretend play, verbs (stirring, eating, drinking, pouring), vocabulary, pronouns (MY turn, YOUR turn, some for ME, some for YOU), and prepositions (in, out, on, next to).
