Really Works!
These bags really do keep produce fresh for an extended time. Follow directions to wash and dry most fruits and vegs, put in bags and close with twist ties (provided) or plastic bag clips (my preference - purchased from Amazon). I don’t wash leafy greens or lettuce before storing because I don’t feel I could dry them thoroughly. It is important to dry produce well before storage. Used bags are simple to wash (don’t use soap), dry and re-use.

fresh product bags
I found spring mix lettuce does not last long in these bags but vegetables do well and keep fresh longer.e

These Rule
The Battle of the Fridge is the only thing that has really stunk about going from renting to owning a small urban condo. The original fridge was dead and broken, and we were seriously limited in replacement choices by the size of the doors in this Edwardian marvel of a diagonally built and then added onto and added onto some more Boston-adjacent renovation.Short version of that story is that the fridge is so small that a week's worth of groceries blocks the vents and freezes everything. Freezer on the bottom is decently sized but maladaptively organized with a door shelf that conflicts with the pullout drawer. In real world terms, that means you tetris correctly and leave space or food goes bad somehow. And all the other food it is touching will go bad, too, especially in the produce drawers. My husband wants to wash stuff and throw it naked in the drawers. The mold and rot thing from the freezing unfreezing makes that unacceptable to me. I wanted to use produce boxes, but never complicate access to food for a person who gets really really hungry. So, I saw these bags. We tried those green bags, and they were (how to put this delicately) not good. They didn't work well the first time, and washing made them worse. These are much better. Much better. Especially on lettuce. So much better. And they actually seem to protect the food from freezing. And they don't get in the way of making the salad in a hurry.

They work, but I prefer the green bags
I bought these and wanted to compare them with the green bags so put some lettuce in both types of bags. I really expected these to perform best because I'd used and washed the green bags once. So I was actually surprised when the green bags significantly outperformed these. Yes, they keep the produce fresher than not using bags at all, but nowhere near as well as the green bags do.

A great value, as advertised!
These work like the Green Bags, but cost less and are clear so you can see the contents. And they are recyclable! And they last virtually forever, as long as they are kept clean and undamaged. However, I wish they had recloseable tops instead of those wanky twist ties. They wear out quickly. But I repurpose the closures from bread bags to replace them. So it's still a five-star review from me!

These really work well for fresh vegetable and fruit
We are now eating whole food plant based and needed bags that extended the life of the fresh produce purchased. These do the trick so well. Plus they are washable and able to be reused. Great product!

Won’t purchase again
Bought these specifically for bananas. I have no clue why, but they are not recommended for them. They are not cheap and they only give you like 5 twist ties for 20 bags. Like really? And they just are ordinary ties, nothing special

Works!
I was skeptical about these bags but I started eating more fresh fruits n veggies and need to find a way to keep them fresher longer.I have been pleasantly surprised - they work. They are supposed to be reusable, that is semi true.I wiped one out and reused it - went to rinse another one out and it blew up on me.They are good, just careful if you want to use again
