I absolutely love pyrex and have forever been converted from even the storage saving plastic tupperware. They do take up a significant amount of space in a cabinet if you have a bunch of the different sizes. However, I think it's still worth it, and they are easy to stack. The lids will stain if not cleaned right away, but I've never had them retain odors. I've had one lid crack, but that was after having for it 8 years and using it continuously. My favorite aspect of pyrex is being able to cook or bake directly in them, cool, and cover with the lid and pop in the fridge. Makes meal prep really easy, which is super important to me because I'm broke but I'm also really busy with work/lazy when it comes to cooking! This size is also particularly great for single serving pot pies or side salads. Leftovers can also be easily reheated in the microwave or toaster oven. Some people have told me I shouldn't microwave the lids with the glass, but I have not noticed any issues with it. Just be sure to remove it slightly/off set it. The first time I just loosened the lid and had it rest directly on top. It managed to make an intense seal on the pyrex and begin to stretch out the lid (looked cool but not good for the lid). The whole thing is dishwasher safe and well worth the investment! No more gross, discolored, difficult to clean, stinky storage containers!

I have purchased a lot of these. I love to make homemade soups and I usually make enough for 10 bowls. These are a perfect serving size for the meal. I can put the extra in the freezer, and I can throw both the glass bowl and the plastic lid into the dishwasher. Done!

These storage containers are perfect for storing and freezing single meals for later. I’ve bought 24 for freezing chili and soup for the winter.

Excellent replacement items for ones we accidently broke

Perfect for my homemade dog food. I make up a few days at a time for my little dog and I use the four cup size for my bigger dog. Will not seal liquid in.

This is exactly what I needed for storing pre-chopped vegetables and leftovers. It stacks well empty for storage and stacks well closed for in the fridge. It cleans easy in the dishwasher, and the lids have not distorted or melted when cleaning in the top dishwasher rack. Am likely to order another set in the near future.
