One if the best Motherboards from MSi
I purchased this Z590 ACE Motherboard used from the Amazon store and took a risk as I usually don't ever buy any electronics used. However, it would be saving me just over $125 CAD.I set it all up with a i9-11900k, dual 3090 FE Graphics cards and 64GB of 3600mHz of RAM. I utilized this board to the best of its abilities and I am over thrown of how amazing it is and performs nonetheless. It uses the PCIe Gen 4 speeds on both my 3090's. One is being used at 4.0x16 and the other at 4.0x8 and it will not split to 4.0x8 for each card UNLESS you occupied the 3rd PCIe slot. I also used the Thermaltake riser cables and they seem to be the only ones that will support the Gen4 speeds even though the say gen3 speeds. The M.2 first slot is a Gen4 speed and is blazing fast for boot up and OS Drive disk.So far, a few days in of fully testing it and making sure it all works it is going well and very pleased I bought this one and also saved a bit due to it being "used" with just box cosmetic damage. Everything was in there like new and all contents were inside the box.Thank you.

Overpriced and not worth it
This thing is buggy and consumes far too much power. It consumes 60 more watts in the cpu package power under an all core load compared to another board, running the same comet lake cpu at the same frequency and voltage. Then, on the latest bioses for rocket lake, this thing can’t even hold a sustained 5.0 GHz all-core overclock in cinebench for example. It keeps down clocking back to 4.6 GHz, against the settings enabled in the bios. Disabling TVB clipping doesn’t work. Gigabyte doesn’t do this. $500.00 for a motherboard that doesn’t hold the overclock? Cheaper boards do it properly, so what’s the point of this? Also, the thunderbolt ports have a mini-DisplayPort in for routing video which is nice. But msi didn’t hook up an internal mechanism to pipe the igpu over thunderbolt. Gigabyte vision d does this. Therefore, if you want to use igpu video with thunderbolt, you have to first get a hdmi to MiniDisplayPort cable and route the onboard hdmi output into the thunderbolt controller’s minidisplayport input. On gigabyte, if the system doesn’t detect a DisplayPort input, it automatically routes igpu video over thunderbolt, so no need for the clunky solution of MSI.Also, to install mystic light to control the rgb, you have download a bunch of bloatware. It took several iterations of installing/uninstalling for mystic light to install, which was frustrating. Also, Rgb doesn’t appear to light up if the system is in standby mode, but gigabyte and asus have this feature.Overall, this motherboard is overpriced, the latest bioses are buggy with respect to rocket lake, it forces the cpu to consume far too much power (compared to other motherboards), and the thunderbolt feature while it appears fine is a bit clunky. Also, z590 is dead platform, no more future intel cpus for z590. Alder lake is coming and will be in a completely different socket and shape (LGA1700 vs LGA1200). So if you buy this board, do so knowing that you won’t be able to install future cpus into it. (Unless Intel changes course).

great quality and performance
board arrived in good looking condition and on time. the board itself feel very nice it is very heavy . the actual quality and design of the board is amazing the armor on the back side of it feels nice if definitely feels like it is worth every penny. my favorite brand is msi i love there designs so that was a major selling point for me but the performance is there as well its a bit exspensive for a motherboard but you are definitly getting alot of features and a premium design. the corsair rgb header is an awesome touch along with the armored ram slots this board def is up to my expectations the only real issue with the board is the price but you are getting what you paid for

Fantastic gaming board
Such an amazing board for gaming. Bios over locking is so simple anyone can do it. M2 drive tying directly to cpu makes OS lag almost completely absent.
