Nicely sized, pocket friendly LED torch, giving off a very good level of brightness. The beam is easily adjustable from a a tight beam to considerably wider, simply by sliding the front of the torch back & forth.The brightness is easily adjusted too, a full press of the button situated at the back will toggle on & off, but a half press, will cycle through full beam, half brightness, strobe &......UV light, yeah, there's an additional LED built in, providing a UV blacklight, should you need it.I had to laugh at one of the advantages listed, for having the UV......it was either quickly or easily spot scorpions!! Yes, ok, they do light up under UV light, but it amused me at this being mentioned. I get for those that keep them as pets, this could be a real benefit.I like that the switch is partly protected by the frame of the torch, if you drop it, you're unlikely to find yourself plunged into darkness by the switch being hit.A rechargeable battery is provided (3.7V 18650), you need to remove it from the torch, then plug a micro USB cable directly into it. No actual charger, just the cable, then attach it to any usb source. The disappointment here, is that it's a micro rather than a C usb cable.There's also a little wrist lanyard, handy.Overall, a very well accomplished torch for not too much money.

Very compact torch wit excellent performance

The media could not be loaded.  In the box you get the torch, Rechargeable Battery, AAA Battery Adapter, Discharge Adapter, Charging Cable, Rubberised Strap, 3 X AAA Batteries, Carry Strap and Instructions. It is a really comprehensive kit. Interestingly, the charging cable plugs directly into the battery, so no need for a separate battery charging dock. As well as the strap, the torch also comes with a belt clip.The battery can be charged by pretty much using any USB port inc a Powerbank. For me, this is ideal. Charge up the main battery, then charge from a Powerbank and, if that runs out, there’s the fallback option of the 3 X AAA batteries. I’m never going to run out of power.The torch brightness is outstanding, in either wide, narrow or any beam in-between and it penetrates. You then have the added benefit of the UV light. My daughter and I tested this with some fluorescent art my daughter had in her bedroom and the results were very impressive.When I consider what you get, coupled with the cost (£18.99), this is a very easy 5-Stars from me.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. The media could not be loaded.  This is a great little torch. It’s metal casing is lightweight but rock solid and durable. Light output is crazy good and the zoom is easy to operate and smooth. It’s simple one button design makes it super easy to operate. It comes with a rechargeable battery and also include a battery case so you can use 3 standard AAA’s if you wish to. The strobe and UV functions work well and I really couldn’t find any issues with it. And, it pretty decent value for money considering the quality of the torch.

It arrived well packaged and is supplied with both AAA batteries and their holder plus an excellent rechargeable 18650 battery (and a sleeve) as an alternative. This 18650 battery incorporates its own micro-USB charging port, together with a charging lead and adapter so it can be charged by either a micro-USB power source or conventional USB-A port.The light is powerful and the torch feels like it could be run over by a tank and still work, it’s so solidly built.If I were to be finicky, I would say that the instructions tell you to put the battery case in negative end to the spring (i.e. towards the torch light end). I wanted to try out the rechargeable battery so put iut in negative end first and…..nothing. So I reversed the battery to be positive towards the torch end, as I do with all other torches I have and it worked. Just a small error in the printing and no enough to take away for the item’s well warranted 5 star rating.

This is a good LED torch with features I haven't seen on other similar CREE LED torches.The pack supplied is generous including both AAA batteries and a holder for them plus a rechargeable 18650 battery and sleeve to use as an eco-friendly alternative. This 18650 battery incorporates its own micro-USB charging port, together with a charging lead and adapter so it can be charged by either a micro-USB power source or conventional USB-A port. I've used both this lead and a standard lead with micro-USB plug on the end and charged it from both a laptop and a small folding solar panel while away on a bank holiday camping trip.The torch produces a bright white 700 lumens light in full power mode which reduces to 350 lumens by a second press of the power button. A third press puts it into flashing strobe mode and a fourth press activates a lower-power UV light. A zoom mode operates in all four modes enabling the torch to focus in and concentrate on a subject by pulling the zoom forwards or creating a broad flood by pulling the zoom backwards.A wrist straps helps guard against dropping the torch which can also be stood on end like a candle in use or, using the black silicone strap, it is possible although a little fiddly, to fix the torch to a bike, helmet or clothing although I have been using it hand-held.With its strong aluminium construction, it is durable, should be drop-proof and the front lens is recessed behind a castellated trim for its protection.It's a great torch, easily carried in a pocket, can provide up to 10 hours use in its 350 lumens mode and is very easily rechargeable. In the event there is no charging facility available then there is the option to use 3 x AAA batteries which are supplied or widely available in shops.The torch is highly functional, practical, well made and beyond criticism so easily earns its 5-star rating.
