EDIT: The company reached out and said I should only purchase from them direct or an authorized seller. I’m confused because the Amazon seller I purchased from was Nordic Naturals. They replaced the bottle. It is smell free and taste free as I’ve come to expect. Excellent quality & I would recommend. I’ve purchased this 6 times. The 5 previous times the pills had NO smell or taste. This 6th bottle smells and tastes fishy. I’ve always kept the bottle refrigerated. As each week passes the smell and taste intensifies, disgustingly.

I use Nordic Naturals EPA products for mental health. I was told that EPA reduces brain inflammation and the reduction in inflammation reduces depression and anxiety in people still having symptoms with medication use. My mood has been drastically i.proved since the 3rd day after I started taking EPA in July 2020. I have since started giving it to my 10 year old whom has ADHD, ODD, and anxiety. His mood has been substantially elevated, and his meltdowns and extreme reactions have declined. I now have my mother taking it. She also reports feeling "human again". My back pain was relieved after a week of taking this product, After two weeks I refused a cortisone shot in my back. Take as instructed for an acute treatment of two tabs in morning and two in the evening. It is truly amazing! I gave some to my mom who had swollen arthrititc fingers and in a week she had relief. Now I take one tab in morning and evening and have never felt better. I noticed I have had a headache since I began taking these too. I wish you al good health and happiness.

I never want to be without this supplement. It helps my mental clarity and mood more than I hoped or expected. I was taking a regular fish oil prior to this with a high DHA to EPA ratio. DHA is important if you are pregnant or a young child, as it supports brain and eye development. Adults do need some DHA, but benefit even more so from EPA. EPA is vital fo reducing inflammation (the cause of many chronic illnesses), protecting your heart, brain, and nervous system, regulating hormones and MOOD. "EPA Omega-3 makes you happy by modulation of serotonin turnover and phosphoinositol-mediated signal transduction, and L-type calcium channel regulation. EPA improves mood disorders like depression, and schizophrenia while DHA by itself has no effect on any of the above." "To reduce cellular inflammation, you need more EPA than DHA" I appreciate that this fish oil is pretty easy to swallow and does not leave a bad aftertaste or indigestion.

A trusted name and an excellent product. My son takes it for ADHD as it is a recommended supplement, it is hard to attribute any changes for him after 4 monyhs. I have been taking it and I believe it has helped with memory, energy levels and general well being. Of all the EPA options on the market this seems to be the most economical with this strength.

I purchased the Nordic Nautrals ProEPA after I received a sample from my doctor. This is the only brand and version of the supplement that I have taken, but I love it and can't imagine using anything else. I think this brand may be a little on the pricey side, but it is well worth it. The Nordic Nautrals ProEPA has a nice light lemon flavor. The soft gels are relatively large, about an inch in length. Despite there large size, I have had no difficulty swallowing them. I also have not encountered any side effects with this product either...no burps or fish flavor here! I have been using this product for about 2.5 months now, and have yet to have any side effects. Since using this product I have experienced less headaches. I imagine the benefits of this product are different though from person-to-person. Overall, I highly recommend this product if you are looking for an omega-3/fish oil supplement!!

I normally receive this product from my naturopath but needed a refill and couldn't make it in. So I know what this product should be like. The pills in the bottle I reviewed were not only all glommed and stuck together, but they reek like fish oil. As I said, I get this product from my naturopath and it does not smell bad. This indicates to me that this seller either has old product or is not storing it properly. This product was ordered in the winter therefore shipping temperatures should not have been an issue.

Excellent product from an excellent, top-notch company. It is the only Omega product I have tried that does not have a funny taste and does not cause belching. It also has the EPA level I need according to my doctor. Many other brands are much lower in EPA mg. I also buy Nordic Naturals Omega supplement for dogs for my border collies.

Good amounts of high quality DHA and EPA

Great product, arrived far too hot. Should be treated as a perishable foodstuff and packaged accordingly.
