Absolutely the best. Far deeper than others that I have tried. Really allows me to enjoy the butter, garlic, and parsley that I bathe my escargot in. Cleans easily. My friends are jealous. Looks like it will be a lifetime purchase.

We love sizzling escargot. We noticed that our favorite French restaurant used Staub cast iron pan for their escargot so we bought 2. They work perfectly. Our first attempt at making it ourselves was a complete success. I may purchase additional pans for when we have guests. I gave it 4 stars only because I wish they had pans holding 12 instead of just 6.

These are the only "deep hole" escargot plates I could find. The holes are deep enough that there is plenty of room for each snail and an ample amount of garlic butter sauce to cover each snail. Absolutely super - no more shells to mess with in order to have some great escargot.

These pans are great for heating and serving escargot. They hold the heat after coming out of the oven. Also, because they are enameled they wash up beautifully in the dishwasher! I ordered 4 more after I was so pleased with the first 4.

The pockets are deep and big escargot fit well within the pocket allowing the herb butter to completely infuse the meat. Also, unlike the porcelain versions, these are not fragile. Great for commercial use as well as home use. Highly recommended.

This is the only one worth your trouble. The cast iron non-stick surface. And most important, the deep pockets, make this worth the investment. You will have it for life.
