One of the best tug dog toys I’ve found for my energetic Catahoula
I am surprised this item doesn’t have any reviews yet, but I still decided to take a chance and try it out. I don’t regret it! I have a 2 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit mix with a lot of energy and a desire to play at all times. He especially loves playing tug, and this toy has quickly become his favorite toy, and mine. Very well made with good stitching and nice thick leather. I recommend wearing gloves if you have a dog like mine who really gets into intense games of tug— even the most comfortable handle will make your hand a little red after intense tug play with a puppy. I’ve even started incorporating it into my workout routine: 30min-1hr tug play in the morning, and the same to wind down and tire him out at night. Who needs battle ropes when you’ve got this and a dog who never tires out (until now!). I will probably repurchase to have a backup, I love this dog toy that much. If you’re thinking about purchasing definitely go for it.

Faulty string
My dog has chewed through the string less than 10 minutes of playing. Why on earth is the string so flimsy?

Good for a while
My GSD puppy, at 6 months made shredded leather out of this in a matter of weeks. Initially it was fine but if you spend more than an hour or two playing with your dog, chances are this toy will begin to tear.

Pitbull chewed and tore it up
Ordered this for my 3 yr old male American Pitbull to place at the end of a flit pole. He is a very aggressive chewer and bites through just about anything i give him, and was hoping this would last a while. Took less than 2 days or use and he not only chewed holes in it, but was able to bite pieces of it off. While he certainly loved chewing and playing with it (both on and off the flit pole), it was just not durable enough for my dog. Do not get for powerful big breed chewers with powerful bites.

Holds up great
Very sturdy dog toy my dogs haven’t been able to chew through it love the design and it’s easy for the dogs to grab it to play

Awesome for tug!
My GSD puppy goes absolutely feral for this. We play tug with it in the yard and he's obsessed. Other toys like ropes, rags, etc. don't really hold his attention but he'll even play with this on his own when I'm busy. Super love this!
