I bought this product b/c I wanted something sturdier than the silicone head massager that came with my thickening hair oil kit. After massaging my head, neck & around my ears for three weeks I noticed a tremendous difference in my positivity, sleep & stress responses. I mentioned this to my Dr & they believe I have been stimulating and massaging my vegus nerve. My Dr recommended adding a body combing when I suds up in the shower. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. My hair looks thicker, my whole body feels better and my outlook on life is overall more positive. I felt vain splurging on a $15 wooden comb, but this is a terrific self-care purchase. I mentioned the great experience while on vacations with family. It's nice to recommend something great to people I love who are also benefiting from this simple self care routine.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time but surprised that Amazon has it too!Nice natural wood smell and work so well massaging the pressure points at neck and shoulder. I used it on my hands, arms and legs too, and also on my children. I feel relaxed and released of pressure. Product of ancient wisdom! Love it~ I agree with the other reviews that oiling it may make it smoother on the skin and last longer. I should do that too.

When I watch TV I keep it in my hands and its fluid organic shapes are just so nice to rub off the aches our of hands and legs and refresh the scalp. I LOVE it. Everyone should buy - it has so many different angles - wider and smaller. I want to buy it for my massage therapist so she can give her tired hands some relief. This is a genius product.

It’s a good massage comb, just the scent is cheap synthetic smell, it doesn’t smell like sandalwood.

If you have locs this comb is awesome. I like that it is smooth.

Whether one likes this or not is a matter of personal choice. This fits in my hand and has thick tines with ball ends on it and looks like an odd comb. It does not comb my hair well at all, so it gets zero stars for that function. As for massaging, it is nice to use to massage the back of my neck but as for my scalp, I find it useless.It is beautifully constructed and well made and fits in the palm of my hand. However, it is not what I expected and is more of a massager than a comb.

I use this not just for scalp stimulation but also when I am braiding my hair to get the tangles out. I love the feel of the wood and the look of it!
