Great sturdy belt! Gives great support
I’ve had this belt for a few months now. I use it for heavy lifts during CrossFit sessions or when we have barbell class.I wanted to buy a good belt that had plenty of support as prolapsed 2 discs in my lower back 10 years ago. After doing lots of research I decided this was the belt for me.To be completely honest I wasn’t 100% happy with the belt at the start. I watched all the videos of how to secure it by looping it through first then velcroing it down. That’s the way I was using the belt. I found that I couldn’t get the belt tight enough and then once I had finished my lift trying to loosen the belt was equally as difficult. It was just very frustrating. After a few weeks of frustration I started to just put the belt through the first roller and pull tight like all other belts. PERFECT!!! Maybe if I was going for that one HUGE lift I might double secure it, but I honestly don’t think it needs it. The Velcro seems to be enough to keep it in place with comfort and ease of removing to also.Love this belt now.

Its a belt! For lifting. 😁
Amazing belt! My first purchase of a lifting belt. The ones at the gym are either too big or too small 🤣 so comfortable, easy to put on and quickly release for in-between sets. As soon as I ordered I had a email from the company on how to use properly, and if the sizing was not correct on delivery they would sort. Would highly recommend for either a beginner or expert lifters.

Amazing quality but wasn’t right for me and caused discomfort
I can see that this belt is amazing quality built to last. However, I think this would only be comfortable for myself if the belt fit absolutely perfectly with the inside bits just touching without any overlap of the inside bits at all (the video mentioned a small overlap meant it fit well). This is because the slight overlap dug into my stomach when trying it on and performing some deadlift/squat movements without any bar or weight. It was actually quite painful for me and believe I need a belt that’s thinner around the front rather than the same width all the way around. This belt being the same width all the way around meant it’s not for me.That’s just me though and every body is different. If this fits you well and doesn’t cause any discomfort, then it’s going to be an amazing belt for you and I can see why others have given 5 stars.

Decent low-cost option.
Superb.I was considering a Leather Belt from Dominion but the price (£150+shipping) put me off.I was skeptical but this Nylon Belt is great and the Self-Lock system is so simple you'll be wondering how the hell no one thought of this earlier.Anyway, the belt fits as it should, Tight & Snug NOT "comfortable". If your belt (any) "fits-like-glove" it is too loose. The only thing I have to see is how long the Velco strap lasts, as Leather Belts are practically for life. I've no doubt about the Nylon but the durability of velcro strap remains to seen.UPDATE: This 4 inch belt is pinching my hip and putting it higher is a little inconvenient. IF they ever bring out a 3 inch belt, ll I'll be there, but as it is I'm looking to replace this one.

Best of both worlds
I have worn many belts over the years from leather to nylon and this so far is my favourite.Leather belt are sturdy and for 1/2 reps okay but anything more and they are uncomfortable and even restrictive. Nylon belts are a lot more comfortable but under max performance you tend to hear the Velcro slip, making that almost tearing noise that removes any confidence. So with regards to the Element 26 self locking belt it’s the best of both worlds. It’s very support for what ever kind of rep range/ Max 1 rep lifts you are doing but at the same time you almost forget your wearing it as it’s that comfy. The self locking mechanism takes a few attempts to get it right when you first use the belt but once you have it’s very easy and releases between sets very quickly. So well done on designing a belt that for me covers all bases.
