Really nice item and good quality

I bought this about a month and all is well. This little guy def doesn't seal as well as a plastic one but sure looks better. If I were shipping this in a luggage bag I would either buy a plastic one or make sure it stayed closed with some velcro, put one small piece on the lid one small piece on the humidor and line them up and put one bigger piece wich will easily hold it closed or add another on the other side if your worried about it. I dont usually smoke giant cigars so with my smokes I can put usually 6 with a drymistat stick in there too, i have 5 cigar obsession 2nd thirds in there with an ashton about the same size 5×52 robusto. I never use any humidification system that comes with a humidor they are usually junk. This is great for throwing in the car, taking on a trip, or bringing over a friends house so they dont need to be smoke immediately when you get there. I def recommend this product. The only this I caution is using the supplied humidifier, the black stick with foam, they house mold and generally keep humidity to high. The drymistat stick works great, just be aware the plasctic tube it is in is breathable much like cellophane so move ur smokes around every once in a while if its touching as you will not ruin them but may run into burn issues, when yoi first light the smoke.

Just to start off, I'm a beginner when it comes to cigars and don't really smoke much. I probably smoke about 10 a year. Realizing that purchasing bundles of cigars is cheaper I started looking for a humidifier. One thing I realized is that most humidifiers have a big footprint, which I hate. After hours of researching I found this little gem. PROS 1. Very small footprint. It's a cylinder so it really doesn't take much space. 2. Inside is still wood lined like the bigger ones. I assume this is good because wood holds moisture better and longer. 3. Build quality is great. It's leather wrapped, might be leatherette but whatever's. the gauge on top is very snug and won't move and the top cover is snug as well. 4. Holds humidity levels very well. Not sure how long other ones hold the moisture but this one holding great and I'm about 2 weeks into using it. CONS 1. The water tank or whatever the stick you put water in is called is very hard to gauge how much water is in it. I've had a few times where it overflowed and didn't know what to do. Again, I'm a beginner so I might be completely clueless to this. 2. It's not that big so I can fit in about 4 bully cigars in it. Other then that, not sure what else to say. I think it's a great a little gadget but then again, I'm a beginner.

I picked up this travel humidor as a Christmas present for my hubby 3 years ago, who's into cigars but not into burning a hole in our wallets for fancy ones. Is it worth it for the price: Absolutely! It's like getting a super fancy, high-quality gift without maxing out the credit card. A win-win! Positives: The faux leather is tough as nails, and the stitching is so fancy it looks like it came from a designer shop. The hydrometer on the lid is like jewelry for cigars, with its metallic gold finish making it way fancier than its price tag. When you pop open this gift, the cedar wood inside smells amazing, adding a touch of luxury to the whole experience. Negatives: Now, after some time, my husband noticed the cedar wood separating from the leather probably due to the humid environment. You gotta be a bit gentle opening it, or you risk pulling out the whole wood lining. He also says the hydrometer isn't the Sherlock Holmes of accuracy, but apparently, that's the norm for lower and mid-tier humidors. If you want perfection, you gotta splash the cash, according to him. Overall: For cigar lovers who enjoy a good smoke without burning through the savings, this humidor is a classy starter option. Makes a fantastic gift, but if you're ready to drop serious cash, the aficionados might want to upgrade. Still, it's a winner in our book!

This is a great travel humidor. I was able to get 5 good sized cigars in there even with the humidifier wick in it. The product looks great. When I pulled it out of my bag everyone wanted to know what it was. When I explained several people immediately searched for it. The cedar lining smells great inside of it. It is very durable. I took it with me on a 5 day cruise to the Caribbean and it held my cigars wonderfully. I would advise before putting your cigars in it that you take 24-48 hours to make sure the humidity is right. Ideal humidity is between 67-70. If your humidity is to high, just leave the top off for about 1 hour and then close it and wait 30 minutes. I don't smoke that many cigars during the week so this works well for me as my regular humidor as well. Great product.

Bought as a gift and it’s perfect for traveling

I never thought my most consistent and reliable humidor would be this one. It covers all the bases; looks great, easy to use and reliable Even better it holds more cigars than advertised. I get an easy 6 including the humidifier. One word of caution is you have never seasoned a humidor- do NOT use tap or filtered water- that is the quickest way to cause mold. A 50/50 mix of propylene glycol and distilled water is the only way to go and you can pick up premixed bottles here on amazon for a trivial price. If for some reason you have to use just water only use distilled water (where I live it's $0.85 a gallon) or you will get a green mold on the inside. Treat this humidor as you should and all your stogies will be protected and remain at the proper humidity.

Excelente producto para viajes o para alguien que va empezando. Es de muy buena calidad y puede albergar hasta 6 puros dependiendo la forma y estilo, se ve elegante y fue muy sencillo prepararlo para guardar mis habanos. El vendedor contestó mi pregunta sólo unos minutos después y de forma muy atenta. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Si era lo que necesitaba me gusto mucho

Justo como en la foto, trae un humidificador y gotero, yo esperaba que fuera de madera pero solo trae el recubrimiento tipo lámina de cedro, bo ito acabado acabados . La entrega fue antes de lo esperado. Me gustó el producto.
